Country Songs Recorded In A House Studios

Many big studios used NS10s back in the day - some with a thin piece of tissue over the tweeter - lol. I have worked in a lot of A studios and listened to many high end speakers. They are all a little different. The very most precise sound pretty sterile and cold to me = accurate vs musical. The bottom line is, you have to 'learn' how your speakers sound by taking the same tunes - or your mixes - and playing them over as many systems as you can - to then try to figure out how to go back and re-mix to sound best on all. After I got the new kit hooked up, I started by playing those same songs I have listened to over countless speakers, headphones and PA systems. WOW! This kit sounds amazingly good right out of the box. I love it's phat quality, and I can really hear the mid and upper frequency detail in the arrangements whilst grooving to both the old and new songs. For the money, or even a lot more money, Yamaha has delivered a really good sounding package (yes, the sub is a _must_) for less than what some others want for just one box. The isolators are nice and hold the speakers where placed on my slippery desktop and under the desk. What is not to love?

Great to get vocal ideas recorded quickly when working on songs, because it's right there and ready to go it gets a lot of use. The quality for the price is amazing. The mic will clip on to a laptop screen but doesn't open wide enough for an lcd monitor. It will stand on it's on however.

On the recommendations of a friend, I purchased an iRig Pre and an Apple lightning converter so I could use my iRig with headphones, and am I GLAD. My friend told me she had been using an iRig for 3 plus years and singing on the SMULE sing app. having recorded 3,400 songs! in 2 1/2 weeks I have recorded some 40 plus songs myself. So I use my iRig Pre with an XLR AKG condenser microphone, a pair of 99$ AKG headphones (I already had the mic and headphones) with my iPhone 7 and have spent the last 16 days recording solo, and I have done quite a number of duets, with, among others, Paloma Faith. Charlie Puth, EmRossi, and other amateur singers from across the globe- most of them pretty good, and a few people who struggle. . I cannot put into words how much fun this is! It is simply a riot to be able to do this. It is a real challenge to learn new songs, get the lyrics and learn the "Feel" of new music. Of course, to be able to do this well, you must have a rudimentary idea of how music works, have pretty good pitch and quick learning skills in your toolbox to be able to get the most out of the whole thing. I highly recommend the iRig Pre to anyone with a love of singing and who would enjoy the process Smule App gives you!

We use these lights for a cross country documentary. We end join a lot of places: classrooms, studios, peoples homes, and these lights are portable enough and powerful enough to fill our lighting needs.

Been using Songs Amps to power many zones in my house (used to use Creation, which was a costly hassle). These new Amps are terrific for large zones - like the Pool area or Porch. Nice Upgrade from the older Songs Amps (which I still use for indoor rooms)

We bought the ecobee about a month ago and live it. We live in cold country in the mountains and live being able to monitor the house temperature and warm it up before we get home. The Bluetooth feature works great!

Recently acquired a house in country side and wanted to have a binocular for bird watch and etc. The salesperson at the B&H recommended against my first choice. It is excellent and it was less expensive than the other. I wear glasses and the eye piece is adjustable for glasses. I recommend.
