Cowboy Junkies Selected Studio Recordings

I bought this umbrella to use in my video studio, to upgrade from my old, uber-cheap Cowboy Studio kit. All I can say is WOW, I'm completely impressed! The fabric on the umbrella is super soft, and very shiny, it diffuses the light across it evenly. If you're on the fence about buying this, I say go for it! You will not regret it!The metal rod seems very strong and not likely to get dented by screw-type umbrella holders. Unlike my Cowboy Studio umbrella rod which more-or-less seemed like play-doh in comparison.I use this as a bounce umbrella and it works very well at it! I was so impressed by this umbrella that I purchased (2) 45 white convertible umbrella a week later to replace my other two umbrellas.

I use this with my cowboy studio shoulder. It works great. My camera sit safe and secured.

I have these quick releases on all of my tools. I have a manfrotto mono pod and tripod that have the same head on them, and got these to go on my cowboy studio steady cam and my konova slider. They are amazing, and way heavier duty than my manfrotto plate, and less expensive too. While you are buying one, you should just count all of your things, as you will want one on all your tools!

This wired remote seems to work well, though I have only tested it out on a few studio recordings. It came with an extension, which was a welcome addition.

I selected this headphone amplifier for my home studio after comparing many alternatives for one primary reason: Discrete, balanced inputs for all signals. Even though my snake from control room to studio is only 50 feet, it is enough to pick up line frequency hum for units with unbalanced inputs. The Tascam MH-8 has individual, Left/Right balanced inputs for 2 shared and 8 individual channel inputs which gives enormous flexibility on the back-side patch panel. Having 8 output channels is also an advantage vs the more typical 6 since most computer interfaces and mixers have groups of 8 channels for more of me use. The sound quality is very good, clean and dominated by the quality of the headphones used. I'll be picking up a 2'nd unit, chaining the 2 common inputs, and adding 8 more discrete inputs. I'm very satisfied with this unit.
