Cox Communications Internet Router Not Getting In Room

The modem works great with my Cox internet service! I have it paired with a router and it works great.

This router is amazing, solved all of my issues. If you have a choice don’t sign with cox for internet

I replace my Cox cable modem and wireless router with Netgear. The signal strength throughout my 2200 sqft house is great. I can even connect my outdoor TV to the internet now. I get the same speed on wireless as I do with the computer plugged into the internet. Great products.

Plugged in and connected to Cox cable. Setup instructions from Netgear walked me through setup with Cox Communications. Plugged in my Nighthawk Router and was in business. So far a strong and reliable connection. First time I have been able to take advantage of the advanced speeds I am receiving from Cox.

I was told by Cox communications during a recent service ticket that my modem was old and DOCSIS 3.1 technology was now available in my local area. I decided to purchase a modem vs. leasing one. All I can say is Wow! What a huge difference it made in my download speed. Even my wireless network speed increased and when streaming I no longer have delays. It is instant! I am guaranteed 100Mbps but I am seeing 150 Mbps with this new modem. I highly recommend purchasing this modem and running a separate router.

The internet is working better, but the apps on the TV though Cox is not any faster. Internet is great. Apps on the main TV not so good.

With a basement router location I couldn't get internet in the living room or on the back porch, both of which are on slabs. Set-up was straightforward and finding a suitable location was a bit like Goldilocks but only took an extra few minutes. This extender now lets us enjoy internet and tv viewing in places we would like to spend more time. The only fault I have is the size and brightness of the lights, which assists set up hughly makes the extender a bit too obvious unless the selected remote electrical outlet is readily accessible and otherwise easily obscured.
