I can't really find a fault with this recorder. If you already use tentacles for time sync, this thing is just incredible. It burns the time code into metadata and records a 32 bit float mono track. I couldn't possibly ask for more, especially for the incredibly low price. Phenomenal device. The included mic is not completely terrible either! 5 |

I love this recorder. I jam it with time code and feed it AES from my SD 833. I will also use it as a pocket recorder to go with my other 2 PDRs. I am very satisfied with it. 5 |

Outstanding time code generator. You can set up this generator either as the master or slave it to your smart slate. Ive recorded up to 50 minute interviews and after syncing in post it did not miss a beat. I like using the Manual R/S mode, I can record straight 1 hour interviews without stopping in that mode. Plus I like digital read out of the timecode, I have to see that its running.Im going to buy another one .I have the timecode going into audio track of a Ninja recorder. You have to have Final Cut Pro X or Avid Media Compser because they reads the timecode out of the Ninja and of course Sound Devices recorder that has TC with Lemo connection. The customer service of Horita people were outstanding. I had question and they responded promptly. 5 |
