Cpu Fan Motherboard

I purchased this motherboard for a TrueNas build and it works with out issue. The motherboard booted right up the first time and has been humming along 24/7 for a few weeks now. I really love that this board is part of Asus's CSM line of motherboards and that a intel gigabit nic is used and not a realtek. my one criticism is that the labeling for the cpu fan header and the aux cpu fan header are reversed. I like it. - Wrecks the price/performance curve, especially for parallel scenarios. - CPU cooler looks good and is a lot more capable than others, especially OEM ones. - Attaching the heatsink to the motherboard was a little tight but not bad. - Does require a motherboard with compatible BIOS, which not all B-chipset motherboards have out of the factory. I decided to spend more for an X570 motherboard which all support Ryzen 3000 CPUs out of the box. Otherwise, you have to hope a B450 motherboard has a new enough BIOS version from the factory, or you need a spare older AM4 CPU to let you upgrade the BIOS first.

We purchased this CPU for a customer that had a CU go bad. We were able to install it in the same motherboard and power it on. The system came up as it was supposed to. Product arrived with no issues.

This motherboard kicks butt. It handles my 14th generation i9 CPU alike a champ.

Very powerful CPU and a huge upgrade from my 2700X. I tried using it on my X470 motherboard, but it just couldn't deliver enough power. Crashed anytime the CPU was heavily used. Upgraded to a new X570 motherboard and my system has been rock-solid since.

Works fast and great with 8 cores and 16 threads. Faster than my Intel 4770K 4 core CPU. Works great with my Aorus 570x ultra motherboard. Just update your motherboard firmware first from vendor website as AMD and vendor are always improving and upgrading drivers for CPU and Ram Memory. No complaints. Totally satisfied with AMD and also B&H has been awesome too with their service and delivery. Thank you AMD and B&H. :)

This CPU skew does not come with a CPU cooler in the box. However not a problem as you should really use a good third party cooler. Make sure that the one you buy will clear the Motherboard components around the CPU and the height of the fan will fit the case you want to use. While this CPU internal graphics will support 8K/60 and 4K/120 not all motherboard will support the higher resolution to the external MBs HDMI. For example the MSI MPG Z690 CARBON WIFI LGA 1700 ATX Motherboard has a HDMI 2.1 port but only supports upto 4K/60 pass through.
