Cpu Fan Upgrade For 7050 Sff

A powerful gaming CPU that is extremely capable. However, if you're an SFF builder, be prepared for how warm this CPU runs. Nothing that can't be handled with a proper AIO cooler, but if your ITX case only supports air cooling (i.e. Fractal Terra), then selecting an appropriate air cooler and applying curve optimizer may be essential to bring down the standard operating temps to something you can tolerate. Also, I agree with Dongun's review comment about the increased boot times. Bottom line: Highly recommended CPU.

Performance is solid as expected but since I'm using it in SFF case (Node 202) with Noctua NH-L9a, it runs hotter than I thought (50-80C) I'm swapping the CPU fan with thicker 25mm Noctua fan, should solve the thermal challenge.

It includes the cooling fan, which is good enough, and the GPU in it. It's the best CPU for the business use!

Coming from an outdated Intel CPU, this CPU is a huge upgrade from my old one.

Needed to upgrade to a little more memory and faster CPU. So far so good.

This processor is very fast and does everything that I expect a processor to do. The CPU fan is great. Nice colors!! You can't go wrong with this CPU or with B&H.

A huge upgrade from my prior CPU, my new PC absolutely flies in comparison.

For my needs has enough capacity for power, and included enough CPU headers to cover a 8 4 configuration. The wrapped ATX cable was nice for cable management. Cables were long enough to route to the needed places without issue. The power supply includes a self tester, which was a nice check before setting it up more fully. It has a hybrid mode (where the fan can shut off) but the fan itself is somewhat quiet, nothing distracting. This went into a 5900x / single GPU build.

The fan does a good job at keeping the CPU within it's safety limits. The moving light display looks great too.

I purchased this motherboard for a TrueNas build and it works with out issue. The motherboard booted right up the first time and has been humming along 24/7 for a few weeks now. I really love that this board is part of Asus's CSM line of motherboards and that a intel gigabit nic is used and not a realtek. my one criticism is that the labeling for the cpu fan header and the aux cpu fan header are reversed.
