Cr2032 Battery Cork

I run through a bunch of CR2032 batteries every couple of months. I like these because battery life has been good, and I can buy them at a reasonable price through B&H.

The RAYOVAC CR2032 Lithium Battery (2-Pack) contained two, count-em two CR2032 cells. Absolutely amazing!!. These were purchased as spares, so I have not measured their voltage yet. Presumably, they will produce the rated 3 Volts and will last for 190 to 240 mAh. They are 20 mm in diameter, shiny and light weight and most likely contains some lithium & manganese dioxide so are technically a LiMn02 cells. FYI: They can explode if heated to more than 80 deg. C.

I would only buy again if it is endurable. I stick a cork material on it so that I can tighten with confidence.

These things work great, and last a good 5 years with no issues. As the cork hardens you have to tighten them a little more often.

Cork base prevents swivel with Canon 5dm3 + 70-200/f2.8. Well machined and works perfectly with Acratech GV2 ball head.

Just put a thin cork plate on top and you won’t have any issues more. It will hold flash firmly. Cork is soft and strong. Gitzo use it on their tripod mounting plates.

Well made and stable. Cork protects the surface of my Leica and provides a secure attachment to an RRS tripod.

I use this on my PentaconSix to mount on Acratech ballhead. It works as it should without any problems. The cork surface holds up while tightening the screw so that the plate doesn't rotate as you put it on the camera.

Taller than most, with plasticized no-rotate adjustable pins for the camera and adjustable plates to keep the flash facing forward as well.  The extra height helps drop shadows behind a subject, if youre not too close to a wall. A firm spring in the handle keeps the upper arm from flopping around in either the vertical or horizontal position.  It does not have a cork or rubber base for the camera, so a camera could slide around if the no-rotate pins are removed or arent adjusted properly.  I simply cut out and glued a cork gasket to the camera platform.    I use it with Olympus micro four thirds cameras.   Four stars for not having a rubberized camera platform, back to five stars for the value and easy fix.

Because of the thin side profile, it is wise to stick a cork/rubber material on the non-rubber side so that the super wide spanner can hold on to the adapter.
