I just replaced a RAYOVAC 9V alkaline battery in the garage door opener keypad. It still worked, but was not 100% reliable. It survived at least 6 harsh Canadian winters and some really hot weather too. I only hope the new one I am using now will last just as long. Not for the cost, but I hate opening that battery compartment. 5 |

I run through a bunch of CR2032 batteries every couple of months. I like these because battery life has been good, and I can buy them at a reasonable price through B&H. 5 |

The RAYOVAC CR2032 Lithium Battery (2-Pack) contained two, count-em two CR2032 cells. Absolutely amazing!!. These were purchased as spares, so I have not measured their voltage yet. Presumably, they will produce the rated 3 Volts and will last for 190 to 240 mAh. They are 20 mm in diameter, shiny and light weight and most likely contains some lithium & manganese dioxide so are technically a LiMn02 cells. FYI: They can explode if heated to more than 80 deg. I’ve had an issue where my garage pad kept draining all the batteries I’ve used until I put these in. So far it’s been a month and the garage still works well and I’ve had no issues with the battery life! Overall, I’m very pleased. 5 |
