Cr2032 Battery For Preamp

I run through a bunch of CR2032 batteries every couple of months. I like these because battery life has been good, and I can buy them at a reasonable price through B&H.

The RAYOVAC CR2032 Lithium Battery (2-Pack) contained two, count-em two CR2032 cells. Absolutely amazing!!. These were purchased as spares, so I have not measured their voltage yet. Presumably, they will produce the rated 3 Volts and will last for 190 to 240 mAh. They are 20 mm in diameter, shiny and light weight and most likely contains some lithium & manganese dioxide so are technically a LiMn02 cells. FYI: They can explode if heated to more than 80 deg. C.

This cord allows you to attach a v mount battery to power a preamp/mixer for your video cam.

This small and easy to mount preamp fits right on the back of a battery pack with velcro. The knobs are easier to use than those of the HD camera it is mounted on. The quality audio and limiter gives me much more confidence than the built-in limiter and audio pre of the camera.

I'm using these on a Turntable with a built in preamp.

Using it as a preamp and I’m very happy with the sound.

I use it to convert an XLR AES out from a mic preamp to BNC.

I use this preamp for most tracks. Its very clean as a DI. There is nothing I can say negative about it.
