Cr2032 Battery Height

I run through a bunch of CR2032 batteries every couple of months. I like these because battery life has been good, and I can buy them at a reasonable price through B&H. 5 |

The RAYOVAC CR2032 Lithium Battery (2-Pack) contained two, count-em two CR2032 cells. Absolutely amazing!!. These were purchased as spares, so I have not measured their voltage yet. Presumably, they will produce the rated 3 Volts and will last for 190 to 240 mAh. They are 20 mm in diameter, shiny and light weight and most likely contains some lithium & manganese dioxide so are technically a LiMn02 cells. FYI: They can explode if heated to more than 80 deg. C. 5 |

I got the OR-14 specifically to house my SONY FS-100 rig on a Berkey sled system with Wooden Camera NATO Handle Kit, a smallHD 501 monitor and a Sennheiser MKH-50 mic with Cinela LEO Ball and fur. I was hoping to get a smaller bag (the Orca OR-12) but I quickly realized I needed a larger one to fit all my gear: three lenses, lens hoods, tools, batteries, battery charger, WarmCards, small HD Sidefinder, screw on filters in a Kinesis case, and the list goes on. Because of the fixed height of the Bright Tangerine Titan Arm, I have to leave the ingenious top tray at home (which pains me). I have to remove the smallHD 501 monitor as well as the NATO handle, Rycote INV-HQ mkIII shock mount and MKH-50 and Leo ball due to height constraints. The internal LED light is a huge bonus on dark sets or evening exterior shoots. I'm on a big personal project this year and I need to be able to travel light with all my camera gear in one case and my Cartoni Focus tripod in a second case: one case per hand. The Orca case and trolley system rolls beautifully. Three minor things that I would ask Orca to consider addressing: the AA battery case/switch is prone to failure and needs to be handled carefully. I have replaced a number of identical battery cases on my Petrol LED light strips inside my audio bag. I'd like to see a beefier On/OFF switch that wouldn't have to be handled with kids gloves. Also, it would be nice if ORCA could sell as an option a half-size lid tray for people in my situation who can't use the full tray because of the height of their camera rigs, but could still manage to squeeze in a half-size tray. Third the handle seems to have a small bit of play in it but so far, it functions fine, so no complaints here. Honestly I paid a lot more than I wanted to, but in return I got more in the way of design and build quality than any other case I've ever owned. 5 |

Love how this plate gives you the ability to adjust the height and angle of lean for your v-mount battery. The additional d-tap on the plate is also super handy. Overall, exactly what I've looking for. 5 |

Having just bought my first DSLR (Canon t5i) I realized my $ tripod wasn't going to cut it any longer. The weight of my t5i and battery grip is 5.6lbs so I wanted a very reliable setup. From reading reviews and watching YouTube videos, it seemed the 808RC4 was one of the more popular head choices out there. Having used if for a few weeks now, I agree! This head is built like a tank but moves beautifully. The additional spring tension is a great feature that adds to the smooth feel.I also LOVE the RC4 Quick Release system. I have a battery grip for the t5i and the entire width of the battery grip sits on the plate giving the camera a rock solid feel. An added benefit of the 808RC4 is its height. I'm able to shoot small products from an overhead position and between the height of the head and the added height of the battery grip; I can get unobstructed overhead shots. I'll still probably pick up the Manfrotto extension arm for more reach, but this is working for me right now.I cannot recommend the 808RC4 enough. It's moderately priced and it's exceeded my expectations in terms of build quality and function. Like I said, just buy it! 5 |
