Cr2032 Vs Aa Battery

I run through a bunch of CR2032 batteries every couple of months. I like these because battery life has been good, and I can buy them at a reasonable price through B&H.

The RAYOVAC CR2032 Lithium Battery (2-Pack) contained two, count-em two CR2032 cells. Absolutely amazing!!. These were purchased as spares, so I have not measured their voltage yet. Presumably, they will produce the rated 3 Volts and will last for 190 to 240 mAh. They are 20 mm in diameter, shiny and light weight and most likely contains some lithium & manganese dioxide so are technically a LiMn02 cells. FYI: They can explode if heated to more than 80 deg. C.

Phantom power only-- no AA battery.

I like the two std Canon battery mode. Have not had success with the 6 AA mode yet.

Battery powered by a single AA battery. Excellent sound quality. Easy to use.

Battery charger for up to 8 AA or AAA NiMH NiCd batteries. It also will tell you if a battery is no good. You can also completely drain a battery on it before a recharge, which extends the life and strength of the battery. The only setback is that this is not a fast charger, so extra batteries are needed if one is doing a lot of flash work with remotes.

Awesome battery holder for 12 AA batteries (mainly use as back up to my Canon Speedlite 4 AA and Battery Pack 8 AA). Well designed. Much better than those battery storage cases 4 AA or 4 AAA + 1 AA I've purchased.

If you're using the BMPCC 6K Camera while also powering the Samsung T5 SSD and perhaps using phantom power then you need this battery. I have two. They each last around 3 hours. New Official Canon LP-E6N Batteries last only 17-22 minutes under that load. The microphone I am using is the Sennheiser MKE-600 Shotgun Mic so you might wonder why I don't simply use an AA battery and skip the Phantom Power. The reason is Phantom Power provides a hotter signal which produces better sounding audio vs the AA Battery. I tried using just one Core SWX Battery and mixing in (8) LP-E6N's, but switching out the short life LP-E6N's became too much of a hassle so I opted for the 2nd Core SWX.
