Crackling With Mic And Headphones

I use the mic for recording podcasts (Sexy Saturday by bigsexy inc.) and could not ask for more from this mic. Super clear sound with no crackling! 5 |

OMG, my mic had been crackling for weeks, and then it stopped working altogether when the antenna broke off. I was disheartened when I found out that a repair would cost over $200. So I went on Youtube to see if there was another way. Lo and behold, there was. I purchased two of these babies, a small soldering iron, watched the instructions carefully, and was able to fix my transmitter. It works perfectly again. Cost, about $30 for the repair, vs. over $200. Don't be afraid to do easy fixes yourself. Woop! 5 |

im really pleased with this mic, it sounds better than our azden lavs. no more hassling with mic-ing people up, crackling under clothes, or being rubbed, no more changing batteries but nice to have the option to run on batteries. works great mounted on the camera too 5 |

I had an issue with the crackling potentiometer. I contacted the Mackier support and they immediately replaced the unit with the new one. Very satisfied. 5 |

Issues with noise and crackling forced me to look for a new Interface and my choice was MOTU M4. Short story - it did resolve the issue which was probably due to the driver on the other interface. But I was even more impressed with smoothness of setup and quality of sound. This interface can drive tough headphones loud. Latency is incredibly small: roundtrip to computer and back (without direct monitoring) was still somewhat acceptable, where other interface was seriously lagging. Nice controls and display. Definitely professional controls and capabilities. 5 |
