I bought this to mess around with at the end of portrait sessions. It needs a lot of light and it's almost impossible to tell if a shot is going to be in focus, but I just crank up the flashes and rock back and forth a bit until the image playback on my cameras tell me I'm in focus. I bumped the shadows considerably when I touched up the accompanying example.

After waiting months for this to become available, I'm glad I didn't cancel the order. This crank is billed as something which makes using the Para 177 and 222 light shapers easy to maneuver. I own the Para 133 and I can attest my life is easier because of this crank. It allows for minute adjustments to the light without wrestling the weight of the setup, especially when using the Siros lights! I highly recommend purchasing if it's in your budget to do so. The thing is heavy duty and should outlive your carrier. Your workflow will thank you.

First time I have purchased an air assist light stand, and have to say -- makes getting lights at the right angle way easier. I have applications that need heavier lights 10-11 feet up, and have to use volunteers to do it. Had several well meaning volunteers, using a crank style stand, try to crank down the stand with a pin in place, stripping the gears on the crank :( This is simple enough for almost anyone to use.

Love this stand, put boom with light modifier on it crank it up and down with my little finger. It is heavy enough I've not needed any sand bags. The wheels roll real smooth, easy on the back. Good product.

The Sonos one is a great speaker for low volume, but the Sonos five just over powers a 3 to 1. If you want to crank it up this is the speaker for you.
