Using it for guitar but appears to suit small amplifiers well. 5 |

I bought to of these to run as a stereo pair for guitar amplifiers in a live environment. They are terrific! They handle whatever two 100 watt amps can throw at them and do not color the sound in any sort of negative manner. They definitely let the amps tone shine right through. I went from two classic Sm57s to these and I just notice more clarity and detail than I did with the 57s. Mic placement is a breeze. I spent all of 5 minutes with a pre-recorded loop figuring out the most natural sound and its very easy to find the large sweetspot with these mics. Again, the 57 does not have a huge sweet spot. 5 |

Since obtaining this microphone, I have used it to mic up two different guitar amplifiers to good effect. Overall, the sound is warm and the bass response becomes more pronounced the closer it is placed to the grille cloth. Positioning the mic around six inches away produces a more balanced and useable sound IMHO. I have yet to try this mic with a Cloudlifter, which I believe should, when used in conjunction with the Fat Head II, yield a better, hotter signal. 5 |

I use the surge protector to power my guitar amplifiers and other accessories in my home recording studio. The long power cord affords me the ability to move the surge protector around the room without hassle. Lots of outlets and slim profile. Also a major plus is the low profile/right angle plug which fits flat against the wall allowing furniture to be pushed closer to the wall. 5 |

We have used Bogen amplifiers at all our sites. They have always been reliable and dependable for our paging systems. I would recommend Bogen to any business. Easy setup and clear sounding. 5 |

One of the best (some would say the best...) microphone in the business, particularly for vocals and lower sound level instruments (acoustic guitar, flute, etc...). Extremely sensitive, very low noise. Picks up the tiniest detail. The switchable polar pattern, integrated low cut filter and 10 dB attenuation pad means you can use them for anything in any situation, couple of switches and you are done. Just did a simultaneous recording with my Schoeps on a flute and these sounded even better, if that was at all possible. More velvet and refinment in the mid tones. You could immediately tell why they are unsurpassed on voice. If you can afford it and don't mind how large they are, this is the quintessential studio mic you need in your arsenal. 5 |

I own a half dozen K&M guitar stands. I think they're the best in the business. I browsed through their other products and found their headphone holders which I have a use for. I considered the table clamp version which is a lot more money than I wanted to spend (it can mount to a vertical or horizontal surface). I have a similar product made by Sennheiser but the K&M has it beat by a mile. I went with this version as I decided to attach it to my (Inter)Metro rack--it fits perfectly. I use this for full size headphones and earbuds as well as audio cables. I just checked the B+H site and see they now have a brand new model that is only for horizontal surfaces. I'll be picking one of those up too as soon as they come into stock. 5 |
