Create Bootable Usb Flash Drives Bulk

I use these mainly when I want to make bootable USBs for various flavors of Linux, but also for sharing files when internet transfer is not practical (it is true! Sometimes "the cloud" is impractical!) I have not noticed any slowdown in data transfer relative to other USB 2.0 drives. I keep them on a keychain-or rather, several keychains, as I can never seem to have enough of these small-capacity, compact drives. I wish the 16GB size were not special order. It is getting harder to find small USB keys, and it seems a waste of admittedly cheap space to use half to an eighth of a thumb drive that will only be used to boot from a modest-sized OS. Of course, instant gratification/shipping is not always absolutely necessary. I mean, theoretically. I suppose. 5 |

I purchased several JetFlash 700 USB drives for reliable data transport and also as bootable drives for uses such as recovery. I have not measured the performance, but they seem to perform well for my uses. They are cost effective and come with a lifetime warranty, which gives me confidence they will not fail when I really need them. Also, the cap can be placed on the rear of the device so it is not lost. 5 |

I used Carbon Copy Cloner to create a bootable version of my mac on this drive. Now when I travel back to visit my folks, I slip it into my cary on - while I'm there, I simply plug into their mac and boot from this drive giving me access to all of my files and software. No worries about damage to my laptop when I get there, so much less baggage as I navigate from gate to gate. Great product! 5 |

If you have USB 2 drives on your older computer then stay with PNY 64 GB Flash Drives. They work and are FAT 32 formated. No Problems with these Flash Drives. I tried 128 GB Flash Drives that were suppose to work on USB 2 thru USB 3. My first file copied to them and the memory crashed and burned. I ordered the PNY 64 GB USB 2 and they are excellent. Smaller GB but always work. 5 |

These USB flash drives are very convenient for keeping my files backed up and available wherever I go. 5 |

No-frills storage that's about as good as it gets. I bought a bunch of these to use as bootable recovery drives and so far they've been great. Every single one of these is still going strong, unlike a 5-pack of cheap drives from a different brand where two have already failed. My only nitpicks with this model are: 1. It's on the chunky side and tends to block adjacent USB ports, which can be an issue on some computers. 2. There's no activity LED. I guess it's no longer really a thing to include those, but those are still helpful to have to troubleshoot, say, if a questionable PC is just slow to boot my recovery software or if it's actually frozen. 5 |

This is my 2nd one of these drives. I use them for Super Duper bootable backups of my IMac internal hard drive, as a fail safe for Time Machine. I use them with an external drive sled connected via USB 3. Seem to work well, and get very little wear as they are only turned on when a backup is made. 5 |

Works just fine for six USB flash drives, wish they make larger ones. The case is seemingly well made, but time will tell... 5 |
