It's a must/have tool if you shoot daylight portraits and fashion/lifestyle . I use it a couple ways: Overhead to create a soft light, on its side to create fill. You need an assistant to Hollywood it or a stand and sandbag to fly this thing, but it's fast and easy to manage. The included adapter is sturdy and will hold it on any baby stand. It's well made but in the prosumer sense. My last one lasted a few years, which is pretty good for "cheap" production gear. Here's the caveat: It barely shades a whole person standing. Despite being big it's best suited to 3/4 shots, depending of course on light and pose. If you do beach work like me it's a no brainer. 5 |
