For less than $4.50 this is the best USB flash drive I have been able to find anywhere. I was able to load a 25GB video file in 21 minutes. Hard to beat.

Tested with 100GB of video files. First, it reaches around 570~590MB/s. After 15% of copy, it drops to 250~270MB/s. The USB will get hotter after 3mins of copying. Actually, this is way better than any USB flash drive so far. The burst copy is all I need. If you are looking for a consistent super fast speed drive. Get an external SSD, not a USB flash drive.

We are using a flash drive to store and playback videos on a portable projector. I tried with a USB 3.0 Flash Drive, thinking the newer version was better. But the projector had a different idea. I learned from the professionals at B+H that this unit requires an older USB 2.0 Flash Drive. I never would have thought of that but sure enough, when I used this Verbatim 64G Ergo USB 2.0, the projector recognized the videos and played them flawlessly.

This was honestly much easier to learn to use than I thought it would be. The menu pop-up especially when navigating through a USB drive with the videos loaded worked great. Just be very mindful to have the files match the EXACT settings that the shuttle has set for recording. Just like the cameras, it only reads and writes the same codec at one time.

Great video, I lie the smaller lenses of m 4/3. I hope they can make it sense a usb and use that instead of having to set in menu every time.

I bought this Samsung 256GB flash to create a Windows To Go install as an emergency backup for my PC. The host PC has USB 3.2 ports so I am able to achieve the full speed on the Samsung flash drive. It really is nearly as fast as running from a Sata 6 GB/s SSD. Boot and response times are fine. As an alternative, this drive could easily be used for transporting large files between systems. Bottom line is that at the cost being asked for this flash drive, just under $60 at the time of this writing, the speed and size are truly amazing.
