Create Windows 7 Bootable Usb Flash Drive

Small! Fast! Easy to grip and pull out! It makes a great bootable USB drive for Windows 10 installations. I bought 3. The other 2 are now Windows Recovery Sticks. 5 |

I bought this Samsung 256GB flash to create a Windows To Go install as an emergency backup for my PC. The host PC has USB 3.2 ports so I am able to achieve the full speed on the Samsung flash drive. It really is nearly as fast as running from a Sata 6 GB/s SSD. Boot and response times are fine. As an alternative, this drive could easily be used for transporting large files between systems. Bottom line is that at the cost being asked for this flash drive, just under $60 at the time of this writing, the speed and size are truly amazing. 5 |

I used Carbon Copy Cloner to create a bootable version of my mac on this drive. Now when I travel back to visit my folks, I slip it into my cary on - while I'm there, I simply plug into their mac and boot from this drive giving me access to all of my files and software. No worries about damage to my laptop when I get there, so much less baggage as I navigate from gate to gate. Great product! 5 |

I moved o.s. and bootable disk to this drive and now windows starts up in five seconds instead of the 30-40 seconds it was taking with the HDD. 5 |

I use windows 8.1 quite often. On this mac, all drives (except the internal flash drive) are external. Windows runs great off Thunderbolt connected drives. You can have multiple window drives and select the one you want on boot by holding down the option key. 5 |

We are using a flash drive to store and playback videos on a portable projector. I tried with a USB 3.0 Flash Drive, thinking the newer version was better. But the projector had a different idea. I learned from the professionals at B+H that this unit requires an older USB 2.0 Flash Drive. I never would have thought of that but sure enough, when I used this Verbatim 64G Ergo USB 2.0, the projector recognized the videos and played them flawlessly. 5 |

22TB SanDisk Pro G-Drive drive review I'm using this drive in a large photo and film Archive. I purchase a sample drive to test out before committing to more drives. The reformat to Windows is a pain. Luckily, I found a YT video that walked me through it. After reformatting the drive to Windows, the 22TB shrunk to 20TB. That is disappointing. It is not that noisy, just a few clicks once in a while. It is decently fast and really kinda quiet. I am using a USB3.0 port with Oyen adapter cable to go from USB C to USB A. SanDisk only gives you a USB C cable. Time will tell how they hold up, but if they do hold up, I plan to buy a few more. 5 |
