Creative Bluetooth Adapter App

Using the Zoom BTA-1 Bluetooth adapter to control the F6 with the iPad app. The larger display on the iPad app is much easier on the eyes and the UI is snappy. It is way easier to mute and unmute inputs in the app as opposed to using the device controls. This comes in handy with an extra mic plugged in for talkback to talent that when muted does not get recorded.

Worked on a film where these were used over and over again for their versatility and creative addition to the sets. The lights, case and the app are well thought out, versatile, and a lot of bang for the buck. I just got my own kit and can't wait to put them to work. Easy setup, and great photos for this scrapbooker! The Creative Print app is wonderful. I had an old Epson Artisan all-in-one that finally died. I bought an HP Tango and hated every minute of it. So happy to be back with an Epson!

The creative possibilities with this product are endless. I especially love the color matching ability with the optional app! I carry this in my camera bag everywhere I go!

I would highly recommend buying two of these. They are cheap and can get the creative juices flowing. The app as mentioned only controls one at a time but there is a work around. If you download the other app that one can be connected to the second and you can switch between apps to correct the lights if they are unreachable by hand. That being said, I have no idea what Im clicking on half the time and the language barrier is quite cumbersome. Not an issue because you get what you pay for and I love using the dials anyway. Fix the software issues and this is hands down the best RGB and daylight continuous light source with flawless CRI. Just make sure to buy two and maybe even 3, learn some Chinese or (Japanese?) and the app problem may lessen these first world problems.

You may want to consider a Bluetooth adapter for your headphones rather than this. They are harder to loose and more convenient.

As simple as it gets, it's an adapter that can be used in as many creative setups as one can come up with. Solid brass construction so should last a long time.
