I replaced my passive Logitech computer speakers with a pair of the Audioengine A2+ speakers and a small 6.5 powered subwoofer. This is a great combination for listening to streaming videos and music in my small office. I use the USB input for the signal from my computer and the RCA outputs to send a signal to the powered subwoofer (Acoustic Audio PSW-6 purchased separately). Shown in the pictures on the Audioengine DS1 stands. The only con is the volume knob is on the back. I would purchase them again. 5 |

I love these speakers and subwoofer combo! I use them every day and not just with my computer but also with my iPod ad other MP3 players. The first day I got this I was listening to a song with my wife and I looked at her and said "I didn't even know there was a base line in that part of the song!" great product worth every penny! 5 |

Use it with my home computer. Placed the subwoofer under the table and the left/right speakers on either side of the computer. Overall effect of the sound is great with no imbalance. Own it for a month now. 5 |

Bought these Edifier R1280DB's for my daughter's new computer system. I have to say that these are excellent speakers for the price. The sound quality is so much better than standard computer speakers. Bluetooth connection works very well also. The wood grain and gray covers are aesthetically pleasing. Well packaged by both Kanto and B&H. Excellent sound for the price and they look good. I bought them as computer speakers but used them for the first week with a TV, connected by optical and later by Bluetooth, and they performed surprisingly well. I have the YU2's too for another computer and they are also very good. Overall, well designed speakers for a reasonable price and certainly good value for the money. Whether it was my ears or the speakers I don't know but they sounded more open after a couple of days of use. 5 |
