Creative Projector Screen Ideas

When when being flexible is the name of the game to bering out the most creative ideas to get the shot matters, That is when I reach for my super clap. Most of the time it is a tree branch that I use. But I get the light where I want it. If your as serious as I am you must have two of these up your sleeve. -Jerry

Great colors! Really gives me some creative lighting ideas and gets me out of the white-light-only mindset for lighting backgrounds and fill lights.

I use my portable green screen for quick funny ideas on my Vine & YouTube accounts. It gives me a lot of freedom to think and execute quickly. It's sturdy, portable and a great size for Medium Shots, Close ups and even good for non-combat Full Shots! HA! It's also priced really well in my opinion. There isn't anything I don't like about it. It really works for my needs.

Anyone looking to extend there monitor onto a TV screen or projector this is the way to go.

Bought this for on-location creative sessions with my projector. I know the slots are supposed to be for keeping your laptop cool but I can use them to secure devices down. The bag is a nice bonus to keep the adapter from scratching up the tray as well.

Worked with VPL-HW40ES; took some creative thinking to get the mount over the projector's center of gravity, but it worked. Included hardware was comprehensive. Instructions were... not bad, but vague at critical steps. Two long lag screws (provided) into an overhead joist seemed sufficient/solid, and the adjustment capabilities were useful (wishing I had smaller hands about then).

Using this to decode an NDI source to a projector in Church services with live stream. We previously were sending the Presentation Laptops screen to the OBS computer via NDI, and used a separate proprietary wireless video feed to the main projector. Got this so we can use the same NDI source for both and eliminate the wireless projector feed. It is working well. One thing to be aware of: the projector will display will go blank in a couple of seconds if there is no video and audio activity when using NDI Screen Capture as the source. This can be an issue during power points with static screens. You can set the decoder to keep the last thing displayed on the screen or allow it to go blank. I prefer it to go blank so I know something is wrong right away. You can also resolve by making sure the NDI Screen Capture is using an active audio source (like the microphone). This decoder has been reliable and is reasonably priced. Perhaps other decoders won't have the inactivity issue but they are also more expensive. This has not been a show stopper for us.
