Crown Jewel Karaoke Machine

This is the crown jewel of my streamlined kit. I only have gear that is easy to setup and tear down (No soft boxes allowed!) Although this is my most complex piece of kit, I still can't get over how much one can do with it. From regular bounce umbrella to shoot-thru, to brolly box, to pseudo-octo box and the option of having silver, gold, black (gold reversed) reflector inserts. I will never run out of uses for this thing. It is the best quality umbrella I own (vs. photoflex and impact) - as soon as I took it out of the kit the built quality was apparent. Comes with a great speedlight hotshoe/umbrella adapter as well. I'm buying more!

The crown jewel of Canon L wide zooms. You will not find a sharper piece of glass edge to edge for wide angle landscape than this. In all candor what;s the real advantage of 2.8 vs 4 when it comes to critical landscape? Not a darn thing. If you are a real pro shooting critical landscape, then edge to edge is far more imperative than a faster max ap. You're probably shooting stopped down regardless. This f4 yields far higher corner and edge sharpness than the 2.8s in similar ranges. DO NOT HINK TIWCE ABOUT BUYING THIS DIAMOND. THIS LENS IS EXQUISITE. Tip my hat to the engineers. Gentlemen, you have procured greatness.

We use it mostly to connect SM58 to Pioneer Karaoke machine and match the impedence. Works great.

I bought my wife a Karaoke machine for Christmas which was two 1/4 microphone inputs on it. I was thinking how cool it would be to have wireless mics so people could hand them off as songs changed, instead of being limited by a cord, and having to swap seats. The WMS40 fit the bill PERFECTLY. I was a little concerned, with the low price, that the quality wouldn't be there, but the system is static free and sounds GREAT! I used balanced 1/4 cables (pulled from patchbay) to connect the microphone base unit to the Karaoke machine. The distance from the singers to the base unit is under 30 feet so I can't speak for the range of the unit.

I needed something fast for a public talk and I have no expertise in AV. This is basically a karaoke machine with 2 mics, super fast set up and was good to go in 5-10 minutes. It is completely adequate for speaking engagements. The speaker is a little larger than I would have liked but it was a good purchase for novices who just need to get up and going asap.

It's just perfect for what we need. Sound cranks. The microphone makes it an instant karaoke machine. Just great device.
