Crucial M500 480Gb Msata Solid State Drive

Solid reliable SSD drive. �I use it to replace an older and smaller, 500GB, Crucial M500 SSD drive. �This 850 Pro drive is much faster to boot and run programs.

Works perfect with my 2013 Silver PowerMac tower and 480GB solid state drive.

excellent little solid state drive - and powerful

As a computer repairman with decades of experience I only use Crucial Solid State Drives in my own computers and recommend them to all my clients. I have never had one fail though I have seen Samsung and Intel drives die.

I've been using Crucial and WD SSDs since the M500, and so far, they're all still in commission. To compare, i purchased a Samsung 250gb 850 many many years ago and it failed right out of the gate. I would buy this again.

I used this drive to clone a laptop hard drive to a solid state drive. Worked well.

I was surprised how easy it was to clone my old SSD(480GB) to this new one with Crucial's Migration software Acronis. So simple you don't even need to know alot about computers.

I recently got a SanDisk 1TB SSD (Solid State Drive) and used a drive cloning device to clone my old 1TB Hard Disk Drive (HDD) to the new SSD. It works wonders in my 15 year old computer! It really speeds up drive-related activities, perhaps as much as 3 or 4 times faster. I think my old HP laptop computer is either a SATA or SATA II type, so I suspect those with a SATA III system would see even better speed results when going from a HDD to a SSD. Gotta love it!
