Crucial Mx500 Solid State Drive Review

The crucial solid state drive installed with ease. I have double the storage memory and it's 5 or 6 times faster than my old hard drive. That's a win win for me. Joe C. Charlotte, N.C.

I have purchased many Crucial 2TB MX500 drives and use them in an OWC dual drive dock. Read and write speed are around 470MB/sec. The ability to swap drives easily is helpful.

Solid state drive worth it.

As a computer repairman with decades of experience I only use Crucial Solid State Drives in my own computers and recommend them to all my clients. I have never had one fail though I have seen Samsung and Intel drives die.

I replaced an old mechanical spinning hard drive with this one and I am really pleased with it. The computer runs faster and there are no problems at all with heat. You can feel the quality of the item right when it comes out of the package. I can't say one bad thing about it. If you are looking for a Solid State Drive upgrade, I highly recommend this one!

It stores so much stuff on it, I've moved some of my really intensive games on here and they run so much faster than before. It was very easy to install as well, and is definitely super durable and made out of high-quality materials. Now that my gaming pc has more storage it is performing so much better! I since replaced the HDD with the Samsung 860 Pro Solid State Drive. Before it to several minutes for the system to boot, now it is almost instantaneous. The overall performance of my system has increased 100 fold. Kudos to Samsung for their continuously innovative products. They made me a believer.

Definitely get one if you don't want to upgrade to a new model of laptop just yet! Obviously it's a little small if you wanna use it on a desktop, but it's fine on a laptop
