Cruise Ship Outlet Extender

I bought my Skyroam Solis to take with me on a cruise. Cruise ship wifi is extremely expensive! We were able to use it in all the ports on our Panama Canal cruise from Vancouver to Fort Lauderdale. We could even do Facebook updates all the way through the canal. Fantastic! No more looking for free wifi after leaving the ship. When at home or traveling, I take it with me when hiking or even when doing chores around town. Wifi is always with me in my car. I can’t say enough about Customer Service. They are awesome! I’ve demonstrated how easy to use this device is multiple times. I should get a commission! Great Product!

I bought this because unlike the original charger that came with the camera, it can be plugged into an outlet and lay flat on a table or counter top. I am leaving on a cruise in a couple of weeks in Europe and I have found that outlets on cruise ships and in hotels in Europe aren't always conducive to a having a charger which fits flush against the wall like the one that came with the camera. Rooms on cruise ships are small and outlets are generally limited. I have tried it at home and it has worked flawlessly and I'm confident that I won't have a problem

We are going to take a ship cruise to Alaska soon and we wanted a lightweight, compact binocular. We are pleased with the product and B&H's price and shipping service.

We used the Solis on a recent Baltic cruise. The device did not work on the airplane and the cruise ship when it was out at sea because of the lack of cell towers. However the device worked well when we were in port as well as at the various port stops. We used the Solis in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki, St. Petersburg, Tallinn, Berlin and Oslo and the device worked well in all these cities. We are an older couple and we had no problems setting up the device. We charged the device every night and so did not run out of battery power. The wifi signal was strong and we were able to surf the internet with ease. On two occasions I phoned the support line (1-855-759-7626) and received prompt, polite and useful advice. I would not hesitate to recommend the device to friends and I would also use the device again when I am travelling.

This is a well made mini tri pod, I took it with me to Alaska my first trip there and this little camera helper came in so handy on the cruise ship. It held all my devices sturdy so I wouldn't have blurred photos and videos. Great price and super quality made item. Thank you.

I just got back from a trip to the Mediterranean that involved multiple connecting flights ending up on a cruise ship for two weeks. I was able to pack everything I needed in this bag and a roller bag. No complaints, everything had a place and all the airlines accepted it as my personal item.

Used my Jaws to hold on to a tripod hanging over the side of a cruise ship for almost two weeks! No movement or failures!

Had a little trouble at first, but reconnected it and it has worked like a champ since. Very handy for taking selfies on our cruise ship balcony and for long exposures.
