Crystal River Weather Hourly Underground

I am using this lens primarily underwater in an Ikelite housing with a Nikon D300. The first trip with the lens was to Crystal River to photograph the manatees. The lens allowed me to get extremely close and get great detail and cover a lot of the animal. It has a good feel and I would recommend it for this application. 5 |

Just took this with us on a trip to the Amazon river. It was crystal clear, lightweight, and bright even in dusk and predawn light. Highly recommend. 5 |

Took it on my Devil's River trip in TX. There were other members of our team that had different types of SAT communicators. As soon as the weather got bad and clouds came in all of their coms could reach out to our outfitter for pickup except the inReach Mini 2. Clouds and weather didn't phase it at all. I was able to reach the outfitter in minutes and get us out. Battery life was impressive, most definitely could've used it the entire trip on one charge. Rugged and waterproof 100%. One thing I wish it had was a scroll or easier way to scroll. 5 |

Telescope works great but don't use it on batteries unless you are ready to change them hourly. Get a power adaptor instead. 5 |

I was not disappointed with my photos on River Trips which allows me wide angle views of the both banks and the variations within a river like river turns and whitewater action in shallows. Coupled with closeups of other kayak(s) and their paddler(s), has made it a fast action response to brief opportunties to record events. Protected by a conforming sized ice chest. 5 |

Great vest. I'm using it in an underground coal mine. It's like having an extra pair of hands. It distributes weight evenly. I use it for batteries, flashes, all sorts of accessories. There are no pockets for big lenses, but that's O.K. It would make the vest too heavy and cumbersome. It's pretty good at repelling lime and coal dust and water and is not likely to tear easily. Pockets are lined with soft material, which is easy on lenses. These vests are a little pricey, but worth it. They're professional gear and are made for rugged use. 5 |
