Current Controlled Switch

This switch works with my current network setup. It is a good switch.

Nice an bright. I use it in a Lowell Flood got reception and interviews...controlled by a dimmer switch.

This slick little PoE switch is controlled by the UniFi management software (I'm using a CloudKey 2 controller), so I can visualize it on my network and run updates, etc. Note that there is not a PoE pass-through, even though the switch can be powered via PoE (or USB-C), it cannot provide power to any PoE device plugged into it.

I did my research before selecting whether or not I was going to continue using my current AV or switch to this one. The results were this one is better. I definitely like how proactive it is compared to my other AV suites I used so definitely will be trying this one out for a year to see how it goes, but so far everything seems good.

This switch is working great with my devices and with my current setup. You still need the UniFi controller to manage the device or any UniFi devices. The software is not yet solid, so there will be times when something breaks due to an update on either the controller or firmware; you will have to do some tinkering within the console with the SSH command and, sometimes you will have to reset and restore from a backup. But for the price compared to other major leagues, it's affordable. It all comes down to what is more important to you, time fixing the devices, or the cost of the devices.

Using this switch to feed a new HDTV, my current stereo does not support HDCP and I was getting errors. This switch lets me feed TV with 4K cable TV box, Apple TV and Blu-ray player. Using TV Optical out for sound to receiver. Works great, solved problem.

Great for controlled lighting

This is one of the best ways to modify your umbrella with controlled light.

This unit allows my Nikon SB700 to be controlled remotely.

Spacious and keep my gear in a controlled environment. Love it...
