Current Digital Camera

... I bought this camera for use in my current digital photography class. It replaced a point-and-shoot model that was wholly inadequate for the course assignments. Thankfully, this Olympus DSLR is exactly what I needed. Its auto-focus is very good, although it's a bit slow and occasionally leaves images a bit dark. Still, the auto mode rarely produces an a photo that can't be easily corrected on the computer. Most photographs need no adjustments, however. The camera operates well in a variety of conditions and offers excellent image clarity. If you're comfortable with dialing in the aperture and shutter speed, you'll find that this camera has a great range of both. Adjusting these settings is easy and will allow you to achieve a variety of effects. The LCD's swivel-mount is a huge bonus, too. Overall, it's a great camera and one that I expect to enjoy long after my class ends!

This hard drive was purchased as an addition to my current drive which is almost full. I have purchased Western Digital desktops and a portable and have been pleased with them. Bonus....I always appreciate seeing a sale on the BH website!!

Portra 400 outshines all current portrait photographic technology, including digital. It's dynamic range kills all opposition, it's subtle tones and color make portraits really shine.

After first month of usage, I can safely attest to the unit's functionality, reliability and ease of use within my current setup. I'm a hobbyist composer who needed to get first footing into the digital recording realm. Perusal of current products led to realization that a mixer-interface hybrid would be best fit for my context. With limited budget, an old under-powered pc and unwillingness to deal with any steep learning curves; I conducted my evaluations. ART USBMIX4 topped the list. In main setup, digital piano (Left & Right) line outs connect to Channels 1&2 w/ respective Pan controls set to L and R. Drum-guitar unit line outs go to 3&4. Headphones used to monitor. USB connection to pc provides electrical supply. To record acoustic-electric, condenser mic plugs into CH1 (for 48V) and drum-guitar unit's individual guitar out into CH2. The AUX-MP3 IN serves well for my guitar amp's stereo line out when required. Admittedly there is significant hiss when CH1 gain increased beyond middle position with mic connected but I get acceptable results despite that constraint. INST-HI-Z on CH2 is rather bland and underwhelming; perhaps this may suffice for DAW software effect plug-ins for which my pc not geared up. All considered, I am quite pleased with my decision to purchase and have no regrets.

I use this HD for backing my entire current digital photo library. I just plugged it in and started transferring files. No hassles whatsoever. It also matches my MacBook Pro.

My current 2TB. Is a WD. It has been great so far and that is why I went again with a western digital. As I backed up, my current hard drive I was impressed with the speed of this drive. It also looks much better in life compared to the pictures on the site. I really wanted the metal edition but since this was the only one I stock, I got this instead not disappointed with the purchase.

I love this camera it is the best of the best for a digital camera.
