Monitor runs super smooth and the curve is definitely a huge bonus

I'm liking this filter. The glass is good, and I picked the 98% transmission filter over the 99% due to the fact that it has a fairly flat transmission curve and the latter has a similar curve but with a raised red transmission to give it the 99%. So a pointless advantage in my eyes. I've got some old Leica 39mm filters from the 60's that I've replaced the ageing glass with that from the Chiaro. I've done the same for my worn and scratched B+W filter too. Use a rubber lens cone tool and unscrew the retaining ring and presto you can exchange the glass. I don't love the Chiaro's aluminium ring design, as it's bulkier than that of B+W, and thus could prevent a hood to fit on some lenses. At least with the 39mm filters I bought. The Chiaro Pro glass thickness is about 30% slimmer than that of my B+W MRC filters. A surprising find. Perhaps I should say the B+W glass was overly thick rather than suggesting the Chiaro glass is thin. I'm going to keep buying these at a significantly lower price to B+W filters especially if their lenses are easily exchanged for one another.

Every game I have run on it so far looks crazy! Doom running at 5120x1440@120 with all the setting maxed will make your eyes pop out!! The combination of the 32:9 aspect ratio, high frame rate and the HDR makes playing on this thing like nothing else I have seen. I can see enemies on screen that other people can't. It's curve is 1800R, more curved than a TV. You sit so much closer to it that it has to be more aggressive. Once you are sat in front of it you don't really notice the curve but you do notice how much more comfortable it is on your eyes. I have an RTX 2080ti in my PC. I think if you want to game on one of these an RTX 2080 is the minimum. It being so large and you sitting so close to it means that any drop in settings you do, to get framerate up, ends up looking muddy, you're kind of defeating the point of having it. If you get one, be prepared to have an irresistible urge to buy a stupidly expensive video card. With nVidia enabling G-Sync on Freesync monitor you get full VBR support on AMD and nVidia cards. It works great on the standard Freesync setting. I have always used multi-monitor setups so upgrading to this monitor has meant that I can now run my desktop on one monitor yet have more screen estate than before. It's amazing how much more productive you can be with a 5120 x 1440 desktop. The games that I have tried in HDR look great but the real star is Netflix. I found that Netflix didn't want to show me HDR content. I installed "HEVC Video Extensions from Device Manufacturer" from the Windows store. I'm completely blown away by this monitor.

Really like this monitor, because of the curve, it feels smaller than it is, do it fits real nice in our cozy office. Had plenty of screen real estate to multitask with lots of open windows. Only downfall is there is no adjustability. Nice and cheap too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't sure if I was going to like the curve screen but I also didn't want to have a dbl monitor. The size is perfect. I can still do a split screen and the picture is very vivid!!! I love the extra ports and being ablento charge my wireless keyboard and mouse. Best purchase yet!!!

I researched multiple OLED ultrawide displays and I concluded with this one from LG. The competition to this screen are either older models with HDMI 2.0 or for some reason decide to go with the mini-version for the ports. The other deciding factor is the screen finish. I use this monitor in a well-lit room due to a window but with this monitor you wouldn't be able to tell. The combination of the matte coating and the more aggressive 800R curve results in no glare that used to plague me. Additionally, everyone freaking out about the 800R curve just has not tried it yet. Granted it is subjective, but the curve allows for deeper immersion into the game I am playing as well as taking up less space on your desk. Overall, very pleased with this monitor .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor is used primarily as a work monitor, the curve took some getting use to initially but now it feels just perfect. I use the picture in picture mode quite a bit to have a streaming device connected while working. The usb c power delivery makes it ultra convenient with my new laptop as it charges as well as the video input.
