Curve Or Flat Monitor For Work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor is used primarily as a work monitor, the curve took some getting use to initially but now it feels just perfect. I use the picture in picture mode quite a bit to have a streaming device connected while working. The usb c power delivery makes it ultra convenient with my new laptop as it charges as well as the video input.

I was forced to conduct my business while flat on my back for 3 weeks recuperating from surgery. I work with 3 monitors on my desk. This monitor was a life saver. I was able to be fully productive with my laptop and the portable monitor. I now travel with it.

A solid performer considering the cost. Yes, a somewhat flat response curve, but isn't that what you want from a negative? I use it for my kids.

This mic has a nice flat response curve, as I learned while researching studio mics. I love the sound coming from this for the VO work I do. Almost everything about this is solid: the mic holder with elastic bands is solid metal, the attachments for the pop screen and mic stand are metal... the handles for the pop screen are plastic, though, but these don't need heavy tightening, so they're fine.

I purchased and like it; however, it does not stick 100% because of the slight curve where I mounted it. No flat surface on my dash. Wish they made one that would adapt to a slight curve.

They are really good for the price! Frequency response is good (I don't have tools to give a curve but they are flat to my ears). They do translate once you learn them. I can't wait for mine to break in.

Purchased the Phonic PAA3X analyzer to tune my studio to achieve a flat sound curve. Worked great! Comparing the audio before and after using the PAA3X was an eye opener! Also used the analyzer to ring out PA system when playing out live. Highly recommend this product!

I have purchased two of these Wescott strobes and I am very impressed. The learning curve seems to be nearly flat. The reason I purchased these is that I can easily switch from camera to camera with the no problem.

Nothing to say about this essential piece of gear that hasn't already been said. They last forever, have a nice flat response curve, and are comfortable for a long day of production work.

20Hz to 20kHz with a very flat curve. Look it up on MXL's web site. It is a great vocal and instrument mic. The vocals are very crisp. It is a very sensitive mic. The little nuances of picking a guitar and moving your fingers on the fret board are well picked up. It is also very warm compared to other more mics in the $150 to $300 class. It also comes with a 3 year warranty. One thing I would recommend: purchase a high quality shock mount and purchase a windscreen. Because this mic is sensitive (large diaphram), a windscreen is very helpful in reducing pops. I love this mic. I have two of of the 2003's. Have had them for 8 years now and they still sound amazing. Congratulations to MXL on a job well done. Very reliable and sounds great.
