Custom Drawer Organizer Strips Black

I didn't use the divider kit in a Pelican case, but rather as an organizer for my camera gear in an existing drawer. The flexibility of the kit really allowed me to get everything exactly as I wanted.

Great so far, but more time is needed to test the durability of the glued-on Velcro strips on the inside of the lid (I'm assuming the Velcro strips on the backside of the organizer are sewn on). The latches seem more 21st century, with their smooth opening/closing operation and unlocking mechanism on the underside. (Pelican latches seem more like 1990's.) Thinktank lid organizer, telescoping handle and wheels are a big bonus. Thinktank padded dividers are of better quality (more durable fuzzy fabric it seems) than my Pelican dividers. And I couldn't get my Pelican 1605 Air case to fit my gear correctly/securely (think 'massive earthquake' and/or 'fire').

This was the only place I could find this type of insert cable for inserting channel strips into a console, without getting it custom made. The cable uses Neutrik conncectors and seems to be well made. Couldn't be more pleased, Thanks for stocking it B&H!

It's a drawer.

These are really great drawers. They fit perfect, nice black exteriors, and slide smoothly. It takes a bit to get used to the extra little push to close the drawer completely and to open it. There is a catch mechanism to help prevent the drawer from opening if it were in a mobile rack I assume. Great feature, but just unnecessary in my case. I recommend these drawers for sure.

I use these to increase the visibility of equipment and grip in my studio. Adding strips of these to the feet of my black light stands decreases the chance someone will trip in a room with dark floors. I also added it to dark cables and to the shaft of my Photek Softlighter. Additionally, these are ideal to color code equipment or to mark standing positions on hard flooring.

There are a lot of cable organizers out there (and if you have been shopping around like I have, you know what I mean). I bought this item to keep the cables and power block in one place for my laptop. I have my laptop in a Thule 15 Attache Case, and there is plenty of space for the cables and power block inside the case - except that everything is loose. This Cocoon organizer solved that problem immediately. Loose cable and power block are gone - plus when I need these items I just pull out the Cocoon organizer, remove the items from the organizer and set everything up, and I'm good to go. Same simplicity when breaking everything down and putting it all back into my Thule Attache case. Looking at the product page you see many size options available. I went with the 12x8 because it fits perfectly inside my 15 Thule - with all of the items on the organizer. If I had gotten a larger size, the organizer would not have fit - with all of my items on the organizer. I got the pink color because most of my items for my laptop are black - and everything is easier to find with the contrasting background. Sure blacks looks nice, but then again, it's hard to find a black cable on a black background - or maybe it's just me... I bought 2 of these. One for each of my laptop bags. So, If you are looking for a great organizer for your laptop bag, school bag, work attache bag, or maybe something for your home office, this is a great organizer to get. Love having a pelican in a non-black color. The lid organizer was incredibly useful for me compared to other ones. It used the full space available in the lid. No complaints here.

Got this with my Pelican 1510 Black case w/ divider, the lid organizer fit perfectly. Takes only a min. to install in the case. Got the package faster than expected.

Just like what was advertised, it does exactly what I was looking for in a drawer.....
