I have this in my kitchen and there I use it on the lower settings. However, when I am outside, I direct it out the window and I can hear it well all over my backyard and my yard is very large.

Use mine in the kitchen. It's a large room and a single speaker is more than enough....although I'd love two!! Very easy to set up. Bluetooth works well, and that's what I primarily use. Definitely worth the money.

I have one of these in my small kitchen and it rocks! For a large room just get two and add the sub. If you are renovating or have a new construction situation, I would recommend the AMP with very good in 8" ceiling speakers plus the SUB. Super happy with the entire system.
