Glad I listened to the advice given to me by the customer service person. This ball head is a real value. I was looking at heads that cost 2-3x as much. So far this is rock solid and stable. Adjustments may not be as smooth as some of the best on the market. But I need stability and weight capacity. This little guy has it in a fairly compact size.
