D Link Ethernet Adapter Driver

This adapter works well with Linux, but will require the user to compile the open source driver and install it. Careful instructions are on the web. I use it on a workstation normally attached to ethernet, but occasionally in need of wireless access. Quick speed test on a strong signal was about 250Mbps (650Mbps on ethernet). 5 |

Not much to say, it's a USB to Ethernet adapter. Works exactly like you would want it to. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Belkin USB-C to Ethernet + Charging adapter is amazing tool to have with you when you need an ethernet connection. The USB-C to Ethernet + Charging adapter charges your connected device while also providing an ethernet connection, so no need for multiple connectors. I have been using this on my Android phone and my laptop, both devices have a USB-C port and my Belkin adapter worked great on both devices. It provided an adequate charge and a stable internet connection without any issues. The adapter was immediately recognized by both devices and there was no need to install any software to make the adapter work. The adapter is also small and portable enough to carry with you anywhere you go. I would highly recommend this adapter to anyone looking for an ethernet + charging adapter. 5 |

Since this device is so new, the device driver for Wi-Fi and Ethernet is not in the installation software for the operating system. You must connect an external USB Wi-Fi so that it can download the device driver from the internet. Other than this hiccup, everything works fine. I bought three. 5 |

The assembly was easy, and the driver installation was easy, and the ethernet cable connection was easy, and paper roll loading was easy, and then the plotting worked well. Only glitch was the driver software creating two printers, and no documentation on which was which (one was ethernet and one was USB). 5 |

I really like the new V850 Pro. Solid and clean build, based on a proven design from their lineup. I had sold my V750 a while back because I couldn't get updated software to keep up with my 27 Retina 5K iMac and evolving OS versions. Good news now - you CAN get software that is current for Big Sur. All you need is the V850 and then download the driver and utilities for OSx Big Sur at this link https://epson.com/Support/Scanners/Perfection-Series/Epson-Perfection-V850-Pro/s/SPT_B11B224201?review-filter=macOS+11.x and install it. You have to search a little bit to get the hint that shows it is for version 11.XXX. The regular main site support drop down doesn't show it. Also - Silverfast has updated their software to support Big Sur. It's a little odd and unfamiliar for Mac users, and I had to install the downloaded driver from them first, then after I registered I received a notice with a special link to get a different key code and reload it. A little uncomfortable, but it works. The V850 includes two sets of film holders - that's a good thing; you can load a set of film while it's scanning another at the same time. This will be very helpful for me as I work through a large print/film archive project with about 3,000 images. It would have been nice to have a wireless version, or updated USB version; it comes with basic old USB 2.0. Thumbs up on this - thank you Epson for remembering us Mac users. 5 |

This TP-Link ER7206 router was purchased to replace an ancient D-Link DGL-4100 router that still worked but which no longer maintained full throughput and which didn't support IPv6. Both of these routers have built-in 4-port Ethernet switches. When it comes to Ethernet routers, my needs are quite simple and the ER7206 meets those needs perfectly. So far it seems to be performing flawlessly. The router is being fed by a cable modem (550 Mbps downstream and 22 Mbps upstream) and has a computer, color laser printer, smart TV, and Wi-Fi Access Point (AP) connected to it. The AP has a built-in 4-port switch to which a Blu-ray Disc player is connected. The router was directly connected to a computer for setup purposes and the process was straightforward. I did update the firmware, which is always a good idea since some fixes may be security related. If your needs are as simplistic as mine, then I highly recommend that you consider this product. 5 |
