D Link Wireless Router Dir 655

This replaced a 10+year old DIR-655 (D-Link). The performance of the router in general is great as far as I can tell. Configuration is simple enough. Modern UI. (Keep in mind what I was working before with was something designed 10+ years ago.) WiFi signal is very strong. Setting signal strength to low, I could use it around most of my house though the signal got week. At medium strength, I'm getting five bars in most of my house (2000 sq ft). At full strength, my neighbors were likely picking up a decent signal. I hope this gets me through the next 10 years. ;-)

I had an old D-Link router that began to have issues with its wireless connections throughout my house, so I figured it was time for a new router. Decided to try the Nighthawk AX4 AX3000 since it was a new model, was on sale and had good reviews. Setting up the router was super easy, barely an inconvenience, via the phone app and the instructions provided. Even my old AVR has its wireless connection back after having lost it for over a year. I initially had issues with the Ethernet connection to my desktop computer which is an old HP, but it seems to has resolved itself lately. The signal strength is still a little weak in my master bedroom and in the kitchen, but I am still able to connect without dropping the signal. So far, so good!

This is my first ASUS router. I wish I had started with it! I had always used TP-Link. I started with a refurbished TP-Link-AX11000 (2.4GHz dropped out at random). Returned that and bought a NEW TP-Link AX10000. Experienced the same exact problem. Long story. The ASUS GT-AX11000 will not disappoint. I've had it for 6 weeks without a single issue. Super easy to setup. Love the ability to add custom pictures for the clients. Top notch equipment. My computer's MB is an ASUS, so no big surprise. Like I said...I wish I had started with it! My network has wired computers, wired TV\firesticks, wireless smart switches, and wireless camera. My camera frame rate is maxed out now without loss of quality. Thank You ASUS!

i solve my several ethernet lines to link together with my router.

TP-Link ER605 V2 Omada Gigabit VPN Router was easy to set up (using it as a standalone router) and basically started working once powered on. The boot cycle is a bit slow (~2-3 mins), but once active there are no issues with all the network devices connected to it. The 4 ports are sufficient for setting up 4 different networks and the streaming devices seem to be more stable (less buffering, more responsive) than before. I should have bought this router years ago.

Router is simple and faster than my previous D-link at 150mbps.I like that I don't have to see all the flashing lights.

I bought this router and paired it to my 2 ubiquiti wireless ap's. Router works great! Highly recommend. Read all the great reviews about it. They aren't lying.

The AX1500 was very easy to install (10 minutes). It is paired with a TP-Link AX6000 WiFi 6 router. Vastly improved the WiFi signal at a long distance from the router.
