D Link Wireless Router Ip

Using this with NEC NP-M352WS 3500-Lumen Portable Short Throw DLP Projector. Powerpoint slides are about 1 second delayed. No audio via the wireless adapter. However, I am happy with the device for my purposes. I also use a hard wire for audio/video usage. After the second round of ordering, receiving, and returning the first order of the projector and this adapter, an with level II NEC tech support, I am finally able to get the devices to work together. Also, I am not going to be using this on a wireless network/router, but through the Easy Connection option (no router present at installation). It came down to one simple operation (from Mac OS 6.8): Before starting the process below, you will need to get the wireless IP address of the projector. Mine was 10.0.39.155. -click on the wireless icon at the top of the screen -click on Open Network Preferences -click on Advanced -click on TCP/IP tab -change the Configure IPv4 setting to Manually -change the IPv4 Address: to something close to your video projector's (my instance: 10.0.39.160) -click OK and then Apply Don't forget to reverse this setting when you're done using the wireless adapter in order to connect to the internet normally. I had an old D-Link router that began to have issues with its wireless connections throughout my house, so I figured it was time for a new router. Decided to try the Nighthawk AX4 AX3000 since it was a new model, was on sale and had good reviews. Setting up the router was super easy, barely an inconvenience, via the phone app and the instructions provided. Even my old AVR has its wireless connection back after having lost it for over a year. I initially had issues with the Ethernet connection to my desktop computer which is an old HP, but it seems to has resolved itself lately. The signal strength is still a little weak in my master bedroom and in the kitchen, but I am still able to connect without dropping the signal. So far, so good!

This is my first ASUS router. I wish I had started with it! I had always used TP-Link. I started with a refurbished TP-Link-AX11000 (2.4GHz dropped out at random). Returned that and bought a NEW TP-Link AX10000. Experienced the same exact problem. Long story. The ASUS GT-AX11000 will not disappoint. I've had it for 6 weeks without a single issue. Super easy to setup. Love the ability to add custom pictures for the clients. Top notch equipment. My computer's MB is an ASUS, so no big surprise. Like I said...I wish I had started with it! My network has wired computers, wired TV\firesticks, wireless smart switches, and wireless camera. My camera frame rate is maxed out now without loss of quality. Thank You ASUS!

TP-Link ER605 V2 Omada Gigabit VPN Router was easy to set up (using it as a standalone router) and basically started working once powered on. The boot cycle is a bit slow (~2-3 mins), but once active there are no issues with all the network devices connected to it. The 4 ports are sufficient for setting up 4 different networks and the streaming devices seem to be more stable (less buffering, more responsive) than before. I should have bought this router years ago.

The router was easy to setup after creating an account. The instructions manual which was downloaded from the site was handy, but really not needed for the setup. The setup was easy due to the on-screen information and easy to fill fields. This router is connected to my carrier's gateway using the IP pass-through method, thus it assigned a WAN IP to the router so I could create a separate network. The Asus RT-AX88U Pro is powerful. It covered more square footage with higher signal levels than the gateway installed by my carrier. I love its enhanced security features, which are standard and at no additional cost to the user, unlike other router manufacturers that charge a fee for such services. This is an outstanding router and highly recommended. It delivers the features and performance as advertised and seen in online reviews.

Very easy install. Self registers on Comcast. Pass through IP to router. Increased download over 25% compared to Comcast X1 modem.

This is a fantastic Access Point. You still need a router so this device can allow clients to connect and assign them an IP. Netgear insight portal is convenient and easy to use. Highly recommend it.

It's a wire. I love it. Just when everything is going wireless, it's nice to know that sometimes, you can get by without an IP address. I'm sure some other brand will sell you a wire for 10x the price, but in the end, it's still a wire. This wire does its job well. What's not so good about it? It's 3' long. So if you're plugging it into your phone or mp3 player, and it falls off the table, the wire won't keep it from hitting the ground.
