I bought this lens specifically to take photos of birds and wildlife. I am using the lens with my Nikon D3300 camera. My first photos were taken without a tripod, I found it a bit difficult to hold the camera and lens still. When I tried using it with my old tripod, I discovered that the tripod was not sturdy enough so I bought a new tripod (Vanguard Alta Pro 263AB 100). The tripod arrived late yesterday and I have yet to try the camera/lens with it. The photo was taken using my old tripod. 5 |

I work in higher education and my communications office bought this to use with our Nikon D3300 DSLR to make low-budget promotional videos that don't require a professional videographer. The sound quality far exceeds the camera's built-in mic and an old hand-held shotgun mic we inherited. The wind-guard it comes with helps a lot on windy days and it mounts on the camera's flash shoe. 5 |

The Nikon D3300 is a great camera. I use it primarily for travel and special occasions. It is a comfortable size and the features are great for someone that is a beginner-level photographer to someone that really knows their stuff. 5 |

I want to protect my camera investment. This cover does that well. It fits well on my D3300, easy to slip on but tight enough. I will say that the plastic cover for the screen is tricky to install. And a film cover is supplied without directions as to what should be done with it. Does it go on the camera or the plastic cover. No instructions, so I don't know. I didn't install it all. 5 |

This camera is a big upgrade from the D3300. It feels bigger and there are a lot more buttons and settings. I've played around with it for a bit and the pictures come out crisp and clean. The video is also clean. I am very happy with my purchase. 5 |

I upgraded recently from a Nikon D3300 after a year of learning the camera. The D500 is an option machine. Being a bird photographer, I'd come to expect and master the limitations of the D3300 and work though them. The D500 opens everything wide open. Setting single button controls to switch from Single Point AF to Group from Manual settings for Birds in Flight to Aperture is a breeze. The layout locations for your buttons are in the right place (especially the ISO location,) everything really makes sense with this camera. The photo quality out of the box is night and day better than what I was using on the D3300, and as well the overall speed of the AF is a dream. The 10 FPS is also a nice bump up from 5 fps on my D3300. There are a few negatives (nothing to detract from buying one) but things this individual user preferred on the D3300. -Battery Life. The D500 loves eating batteries, and regularly battery life seems to be used even when the camera is not in use. Seemed like I never charged the batteries on the D3300 - Shutter Button. Somewhat more sensitive vs. the D3300 (that again, is the opinion of one user) All in all, I'm thrilled to have this camera, it's a game changer. 5 |

Great way to protect my camera (Nikon D3300) including the screen. Easy to install. The screen protector is actually 2 pieces. The first is a film you apply to the screen and the second is a hard plastic that gets inserted into the rubber cover. There is a channel in the screen protector opening for inserting the hard plastic. 5 |
