Needed a better intervalometer for my Nikon D5200. The built in one the camera didn't quite cut it . Hear great reviews on this Vello from others that I decided to take a chance. After receiving it and putting through some tests with my telescope mount , I don't regret purchasing it . It's simple and straight forward for me to understand. You can't switch out the cord connectors if you have two way different cameras . Lucky for me my Nikon D5200 and Nikon d610 have the same connector .

I upgraded my Nikon from the D5200 to the D7500. I love to take nature and wildlife pictures and use a Tamron 18-400 lens for my all around picture shooting. I did put on my Nikon nifty 50 prime lens to try my first shot with this camera. Wow, I was amazed at the clarity of a simple in the house shot I took. I was hesitant to purchase the D7500 when I saw that they had dropped the megapixels to 20.9 from the 24.1 mp I had on my Nikon D5200. But I love this camera and I'm still learning where to go for some of my camera settings. I have used the WI-FI settings to send some of my shots to my cell phone and so far have had no issues. It 's been pretty easy to do. I like the feel of the camera in my hands, I was use to one SD card slot already so that was no problem for me. I did purchase an extra battery. The weather has turned pretty cold here so haven't had a lot of chances to get out there and really put it to the test just yet. I am excited to see how much I can grow in my photography using this camera soon.

This fits my #Nikon #D5200 camera perfectly. I had not trouble putting this cover on my camera even with the camera lens still attached the camera. It helps me feel more protective about my camera. it makes it easier for me to identify which one is my camera from other people. It does not make my camera feel too much larger compared to without the protective casing around the camera. The ruber actually helps it so in cold times the camera does not feel as warm.

I decided to trade in my Nikon D5200 for something more compact and portable that still has all the capabilities, bells and features as my Nikon. This is where Sony A6000 came into the picture. While I loved my Nikon, I absolutely adore my Sony. The quality of the camera is awesome and it's hard to believe that it can produce shots that it does in such a small package. Highly recommended camera and vendor.

I decided to replace my 18-135mm zoom kit lens that came with my old Nikon D40X camera that was also recently upgraded to a D5200. I never was very comfortable with the plastic mating surface and the contacts had shown to be unreliable on more than one occasion. (The lens not installed warning read out could be a pain when the shutter release button was depressed.) A quick lens unlock and lock motion would usually solve the problem, but your subject was typically long gone by then. This lens does have a more substantial metal locking base and the barrel has a tighter more precise feel to it. The newer lens has the same diameter as the previous one except it's a tad longer, that along with the slightly thicker D5200 camera body made it difficult to use the old D40X camera cover. The purchase of the Nikon CF-DC2 cover, which is a tad longer, solved this problem beautifully.

I use this for the Nikon D5200 and it covers it pretty well. It does not fit with a lens on. I assume it works for cameras the same size because it is a pouch that stretches. The velcro holds pretty nicely, and the design lets you keep your camera strap on the camera because the side where the straps go are open.

I waited six years for a DX camera with video phase detection autofocus. Here it is, and mirrorless to boot. I love this camera. It takes fantastic photos, makes great videos, and handles like a real grown-up camera. I traded in my Nikon D5200 and Canon 60D to buy it. It does everything those two cameras did and more. The D5200 was just the right size and handled great, but the video was jerky. The D60 took great photos, but was heavy. I ended up not using it because it was too bulky to carry around. I considered all the Z50 rivals. They might have a little better autofocus, better lens selection, be more compact (with tiny EV or none at all), but it's the way Nikon's handle that drew me to the Z50. What a joy. There are some peccadilloes though (nothing's perfect). We're going to have to wait for a full lens selection, although this camera is so good I'd have no qualms buying full frame lenses, if only it had IBIS (camera or lens). I bought the FTZ adapter so I could use my DX 35mm 1.8 lens. It works beautifully. Face detection autofocus is a little iffy in video. It works well, but not always on the face you'd like, especially if your main face turns away or leaves the frame. Better to turn it off and use object tracking which sticks like glue. AF-Area autofocus has an annoying way of focusing on better lit objects in the background, especially in dim light; however, low light performance is really good. OK, so maybe autofocus could be a tad bit faster, but fortunately all these obstacles can be overcome with quick and easy menu selections. To my mind, this is the best all-around APS-C camera you can buy for the price.
