With the D700?

This is one exceptional and fantastic camera. Now this is the true successor to the D700 :-)

This a really great bag at a nice price. I am able to hold my D700 with 50mm attached as well as 2 other lenses.

Excellent CLS control for off camera flash. Used on a Nikon D3 and D700 for off camera flash control.

Good protection for your camera without being bulky. I am still getting use to my camera and the locations of control buttons,but better safe than sorry, wish they made it for the D700.

I love this eyecup it helps me to focus on the subject without my eyeglasses. I can't say that there is nothing so great about it. It's a must have for my D700 and the price is reasonable, thanks B&H.

asperical element check price check 1.8 check great lens has some vignetting on my d700 FX camera but is sharpest compared to old 35mm f2, will work great on crop sensor as a natural 50mm view. manual auto override helps faster focusing in low light, great for full size, portraits, low light, sharp photos

Thank it was just what I wanted for the D700

When this tripod was delivered my first response was to return it. I did not think it was strong enough however, I had a change of mind. I am used to my wood berlebach tripods and I realized it was unfair to compare them. I bought it for air travel because of it's size and weight. When I use my Nikon D700 and 28-300 lens without the battery grip it is just fine. I decided to keep it but trade to the Carbon fiber model and canceled that too. I will be going to Malta shortly and my equipment will be the D700 with the 28-300 Nikkor. That will go in a 'MindShift 30' padded camera cover and inside that will also be my Nikkor 16mm FE lens in a pouch.I use the BlackRapid Cargo Strap on the camera and it carries three 32gb Sandisk cards two batteries and 'Zeiss' lens wipes and cloth. Put all that together and that is 11.4 pounds with the Aluminum Mefoto Globetrotter, plus I will have a filter pouch with four filter. I have been testing this camera/lens combination around town and with macro setups and it works just wonderful. It is very easy to extend the legs and center post and folds very short. All in all it seems to be excellent for what it is made for and what I will use it for. The pictures I have posted with this are using the tripod and the mentioned equipment.

Have used this to protect my D700 when traveling light. Works well if you need a way to protect your camera if you had to put it in a travel bag or a back pack. Protected the camera against other items that moved around in my back pack during my last trip. Nice to have.
