D750 Manual English

This grip works fine when attached to my Pentax K-1. And I have read that it will also work with the upcoming K-1 Mark II. The only fault that I found is regarding the instruction manual. It barely tells you, in very small print on the first page of its English section, vague instructions about selecting the desired battery type & priority setting in the #4 Tool Menu of your K-1 camera. They should have hired a professional to author the manual. You have to first turn on the camera for the grip buttons to work. Turning on the grip will not turn on the camera, it will only activate the grip. The manual does not tell you this; you have to figure this and other things out yourself. The Instruction Manual is 85 pages, but only 9 of those pages are for English readers. The rest of the 76 pages are for a host of other languages (maybe even Swahili). This makes for an unnecessarily bulky instruction manual. They should have a separate manual for each language so that we can recycle those in the other languages.

Led's are very bright and powerful. There was no english manual, i had tough time getting started. The big advantage is external batteries which you can buy from third party. I got two big ones so that i do not have to worry about anything else.

I bought my T7i as a travel camera, so weight is a consideration. The manual that comes with the camera is useful but because it's in three languages (English, French, Spanish) it's awfully heavy. So my PhotoBert cheat sheet is a real godsend. It's light but durable and covers 99.4% of the information I'm likely to need when traveling. And because of its conciseness, it's a lot easier to find what I need rather than having to leaf thru the manual. I'm awfully glad I invested in it.

I didn't hesitate buying Darrell Young's Mastering the Nikon D850 when I acquired the D850. And I'm glad I got it. I had previously purchased and read his Mastering the Nikon D750 and while there are lots of similarities between the two cameras, the D850 is like the D750 on steroids. Very high quality and more capable and complex than the D750. While the Nikon D850 manual can be very helpful, Darrell Young describes each of the features and programs in the D850 more thoroughly than the manual, and it seems to me, with better organization of what you need to know. Also, he almost always finishes a discussion of a feature by telling you how he uses the feature and why. He does this without being pushy or insensitive as to why someone else might view the use of the feature differently.

For use with my D750 and D850. Excellent for getting those 100% Live View zoom shots in manual focus before taking the photo. No more soft photos for me. Get the details in your shoot. Better pics, less clicks.
