Dac Usb C To Headphone Adapter

A very functional USB-C headphone adapter. Works well. My 6th or so adapter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to replace a simple usb-c to headphone adapter I have been using since I damaged my 3.5 mm headphone jack on my phone. I don't use it a lot but it comes in very handy when I need it. I have two vehicles without bluetooth and I prefer just to use a wired connection. This lets me charge my phone and use headphones or the auxiliary input in my car at the same time. The sound is clean when it is charging and without any interference. I also like that it is small and simple and does exactly what I need it to.

Okay so first off this product runs around $+ and when first being released to the U.S. it was going for a typical $. Now, I will be honest I have seen B&H but never actually purchased anything from their site...wow boy should I have. I found this for $ less than the best price, but it does not end there. No, it was paired with a free headphone that is priced out $-$ and is considered one of the best in it's price range, the Shure 440 monitor headphones. So I get around + dollars worth of audio gear for the price of $, um sound good? ... Yes! it definitely does, and I am now currently trying out each of my headphones accordingly, because the external DAC I was using before this, AMB Gamma 1 Lite, was a good DAC for a older DIY model. It was only able to produce playback at 16bit and 48khz resolution, basically mastered CD quality. Now for a starting DAC(Digital to analog converter) it is very nice, but even with the first couple of minutes and without burning in the Fostex I could tell this is some of the best money I spent this year. Now, if all of this was not enough to sell you on this purchase, on top of this they offered free shipping.... and I got this device 24hours later from the initial order. This is an incredible DAC, which also is a pre-amplifier with a headphone amplifier. The only thing I miss is the balance control, but that's OK. Easier better than my other two DACs.

For the price this dac/amp is a bargain. I use it to drive my Sony MDR Z1R headphone and my Sennheiser IE 900 IEM. Wired connection sounds better than the bluetooth connection but all the features this product offers makes this a must have. Just buy it you will be happy. This is audiophile bargain

Splitting XLR from computer DAC (Schiit Gungnir) to headphone integrated amp receiver (Schiit Ragnarok) and to TV entertainment center processor (Emotiva XMC-1). Does the job with 0 noise or issues. Clean signal to both. Works!!!

Excellent quality, using for connection between balanced DAC and balanced headphone amp. Will buy more of these when needed.

I power an Electro-Voice RE 11 with mine which isn't the easiest dynamic mic to drive and requires quite a bit of power. The Motu M2 does great with no added noise that I can detect, extremely clean output. But I mean you could get cheaper interfaces and get most of the way there, but the real benefit of this device over the competition is in the DAC and headphone amp. They sound absolutely amazing! The headphone amp is extremely powerful being able to drive anything I've thrown at it, and connecting the rca outputs into my small onkyo amp which is driving my NHT bookshelf speakers has already replaced my old DAC. I think for the person starting from square one with not only producing audio but consuming it should be absolutely looking at this interface.

I will say I do really enjoy this headphone. Even with my cheaper amp/dac. (fx audio dac x6 is what is being used here.) Even though I can tell with a better one I would get more out of the headphone. It is on the warmer end but still fairly v shaped. Though for me the mids still were clear. Basically how I describe it balance wise bass is 15, treble is 12, and mids are 10. Still has what I call the planar separation so it didn't lose that planar sound. Though still I would recommend if you want to get the most out of this headphone you want a decent dac/amp.
