Daddy Long Legs Game Controls

My daddy gave it to me about a year ago and i absolutely love it!!!!

This is an amazing product to help level your tripod without having to fiddle with the legs of your tripod and play the guessing game.

We switched over to this Manfrotto LANC remote for filming hunts and it is an absolute game changer! All the controls are right at your thumb allowing you to engage the camera in any way you like while keeping your movement to a minimum. If you are filming hunts or filming wildlife, this thing is a necessity.

I reviewed several controllers for the game; looking for ease of use and assigning buttons to flight controls. In addition, I didn't want to break the bank. What a surprise! Hotas 4 was automatically accepted by the Sim with almost all buttons assigned, ready to fly! With a tweak after visiting the Thrustmaster site for updates, I was up flying in a few minutes.

It just doesn't get any easier than this! Leveled up my audio game! Great clean audio, with controls right for my camera. Completely took the guesswork out of if I'm getting my audio on file with my video. Best feature, transmitters record right on the unit as a back up! Safety!

I bought this head to go on to a Manfrotto 055XPRO3 legs. The head gives me the basic video capabilities I need with my DSLR. Some other reviews have mention the noise while adjusting the friction controls. Yes there is some, but it is minimal, doesn't bother me, and hasn't been an issue. As this is a flat base head for the flat base tripod, I bought the leveling, half ball center column. It's a great addition to make the head and tripod legs even more video capable. The head is solidly built. sturdy, good friction and lock controls, and the counter balance is good. Like any new piece of equipment get to know it a little. It's not perfect, but for the price it is awesome.

I use this to mount my Zoom H5 recorder on one of my tripod legs so I have all my audio and video controls in one place. It holds very securely, and I'm not at all worried about the recorder falling off. I've used it on a couple of on-location shoots so far. I think it will last a long time. It is a lot bigger and heavier than I expected! I originally planned to mount the recorder on a boompole so the audio guy could get at the controls easily, but the clamp alone weighs more than the entire assembled boom. It's not so great for situations where you need light weight, but I'm sure it could hold a lot more than just an audio recorder. This will definitely be a standard piece of equipment in my bag from now on.

The 700DX Tripod legs are very well built. Able to hold a 40D with long lens. Legs are easy to deploy. Great tripod for the money.

The screen, frame, and legs are well built and should last a long time.
