I ordered this Allegro USB 3.1-C type card because my PC was damaged during a no-warning fire safety power shut-off back in October here in California which caused a surge straight through my APC backup/surge protector. This resulted in a damaged front audio and USB port unit through the main switch to my computer case which connects directly to the motherboard. Therefore all the USB ports on the front of the case and on the back I/O of the motherboard became non-functional. This card, attached to the motherboard, bypasses the USB-C port on the back so that I can temporarily use it for USB-C connections until a new USB/audio/switch unit arrives from Germany for my Be Quiet! 800 case. Fortunately, it is still under warranty, and Be Quiet! offered to replace the unit free of charge. However, the Allegro card only works in PCI-E 3.0 or higher slots. It will NOT fit in PCI-E 16 express (the interface is too wide). I tried it in a PCI-E 2.0 slot and it will not function in it at all. Be sure that you have the right configuration or it will not work. It has two USB-C ports. Therefore, with the right cables, I am also able to route it to a four-port hub for other USB input needs such as thumb drives. This adapter is similar in writing speed to the original USB-C port on the I/O from the motherboard. This, with a four port USB 3.0 card connected to the PCI-E express gives me enough latitude to plug in all of my peripherals until final repairs are made. When that happens I will use it in another older PC build which does not have USB-C capability. I have tried it in that PC and it works very well and fast.

I bought this for my husband's Samsung note 20 ultra. The charge port is damaged. Wireless charging is inconvenient mid day. This was the perfect solution!

I recently damaged my laptop serial port. Rather than replace the laptop I bought a USA 19HS. This is a USB to serial connection. I connects with every PLC I program, first time, every time. I have equipped all my laptops USA 19HS adapters. I love the reliability.

I damaged the USB port on my E-30 and the repair cost was quite expensive so i decided to splurge and go for a new body. While the specs of the E-5 dont look much different on paper when you use it the differences are great and good. It is so much easier to use...in fact Its FUN to use. The picture quality is is a step up and the New ART filter dramatic is very pleasing. almost HDR like with a single shot.Though i've only had it around 2 weeks i'm am so glad i got it. I damaged the USB port of my previous camera. I didn't want that to happen again so I decided to give this a try. The right angle puts less pressure on the port and also it makes it easier to use it with the tether lock, which is a very sturdy protection that grabs your cable underneath the camera on the plate.

The iPhone, Apple watch, and my AirPods all positioned in a space saving design. Perfect! The unit is sleek and modern and appears well made. We highly recommend this product.
