Dark Matter 49 In Curved Gaming Monitor

This is being used as a gaming monitor. It seems to make the image more intense. The curved style allows you to take in more visually. We'd recommend this monitor.

I needed an arm that could handle the Samsung 49-inch gaming monitor, and this came highly recommended. Easy to install, solid and easy to adjust. Hold my monitor at its odd angle and doesn't droop. Couldn't ask for more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to give the AOC 31.5" full HD WLED curved gaming LCD monitor in black and red a try. I love that the monitor is curve. It sits up high enough that I'm leveled with the monitor. I'm very happy with it. The picture is picture perfect! I use this for gaming and also work. I have it sitting next to my other computer screen. I'm definitely going to get another AOC curved monitor and get rid of my smaller monitor. It's sturdy and sits perfect on my desk. I can't say one negative thing about this monitor at all. It's easy to clean. It came well packed in the box and had no damage to it. It was easy to take out of the box and took less than 5 minutes to set everything up. This is the perfect size computer to have for every day use and especially for gaming! I didn't think I would like the curved monitor, but I was wrong. It's amazing!

Mounted a VIOTEK GNV34DBE 34-Inch Curved Gaming Monitor to this VESA 75x75 , on a mobile sit stand desk, bolted through the work surface. Regained my desktop real-estate and I don't have to worry about the monitor falling off the back of the desk when I roll it about. Was looking for a simple, no need for a swinging arm, monitor stand, this works perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a 29" curved monitor first and it was starting to do things monitors do when they have had enough of life, so I went shopping for a new one. First I tried an LG Ultrawide flat but ended up donating it to my husband for gaming as I really missed the curve and the ease of peripheral vision in gaming. Then I started working from home, and while most of my colleages have 2 or 3 monitors scattered around their workspace, I have 1, simplifying my life. It's kinda big, I don't recommend it for just any space, I affectionately refer to it as my surfboard, but it's a great monitor and I'm glad I went for it.

I am a UX/UI designer by day so accurate color depiction is very important for me to have in a monitor, and the colors on this one are great. The picture is also very crisp, and I love how even though the monitor is curved, nothing feels distorted at all (that was something I was a little worried about since I haven’t had a curved monitor before). I also chose this one because I am starting to build my first gaming PC soon and wanted to make sure I had a monitor that was both super responsive and also big enough to justify not just gaming on my big living room tv. This one is huge compared to my last monitor so I can’t wait to play games on this thing.

Well I can truly say this monitor is amazing. I have used this mainly for work as I love having one screen that splits into two to display two large screens or split further into 4 quarter displays. I have also used it for gaming. The screen is colour rich and sharp. This makes watching videos a pleasure to watch and online gaming experience far better than on a large LED TV. The response time of the screen is also very impressive. The curved screen is great as you feel closer to the screen. The built-in speaks produce a high-quality sound. This reducing the need for additional speakers and frees up plug sockets. I have certainly enjoyed using this Samsung CJ79 curved monitor. This has drawn plenty of attention from my colleagues at work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor has served our family well in two capacities - First, I use it to work on and I love the curve. It works great with my stand up desk. The 31.5" size is superior to the monitor I had been using. I can easily split the screen to show two items without it being so small it is not readable. We also use this as a gaming monitor, which is its intended purpose. The refresh rate is very fast and colors are extremely vibrant. The set up was a snap, it was pretty much right out of the box and plug it in. It seems to be well made as it is slightly heavy which is a good quality. While gaming the color and clarity help make you feel as though you are right there in the game, it is very immersive. Overall, I am very happy with this monitor, it is a very much an upgrade from my previous smaller monitor. If you have never had a curved monitor, I strongly suggest giving this one a try, you will never go back to a flat monitor after trying a curved one!

If your primary use is for media playback and gaming this curved monitor is a great choice for its balance of price/performance. If you're looking for a monitor for more traditional business uses I would recommend a flat screen. Five stars for what it is and be sure to use the HDMI input to utilize the monitor's full dynamic range.
