Dash Cam Car Security Camera

This camera uses the same chips as some higher end dashcams, and that is what I mostly use it for. As a dash cam, it has all the features of the better ones, plus you can use it out of the car, where regular dashcams are not a good option. The very wide angle lens is a plus in certain situations where regular cameras won't cut it. It's not Nikon quality, but for around $ with the same mounts that GoPro cameras use, it has it's uses.

This is my second camera. The first one I have used for years as a dash cam with zero problems.

I've got this card in security cameras and a dash cam. No issues with speed reading or writing. Can't speak for durability yet but very satisfied.

I used this in my car mainly for my dash cam and to charge my phone. Previous car chargers (probably 1A or less) I've had can barely keep my phone battery at the same level over a long trip (using nav + pandora). However, I was able to use google maps, pandora, and get my phone from 60% to 100% battery level for driving in about an hour. 2.4 amps per port is awesome. Blue LED is a great touch, very visible even during bright daylight. Haven't gotten a chance to use it at night, but I don't think it will be too bright. Got a second one to tinker with to see if I can change LED's to match my dash.

I bought this mainly for the Dash Cam Car mode function but it has all the other features that a $400 GP has for a fraction of the cost. So far I am super pleased with its functionality and quality. I can't wait try out all the features it has.

Bought this to use in the car, so when not using my hero8 on my bike, I can use it as a dash cam in the car. And got to say, was pleasantly surprised when it arrived as much more robust and smart than what I was expecting. Came with plenty of adapters too, so fitted up into the car perfectly and been fine throughout these heatwaves without budging an inch! Thoroughly impressed, very well priced and better than what I was looking for. Happy days!!!!

Fantastic little dash cam that is discreet and has an easy to use app that pairs to it. I bought one for my wife's car too.

I love this cam. Quality is very clear and smooth. The stabilization is awesome. I've used it on the dash of my car and it remains very smooth. I like that is has a small screen on the back, so you can see what you are recording. I have never used a GoPro, so I can't comment on the difference between the two.
