When it comes to attached storage solutions for audio and video editing this is the best option I have used yet, and I have tried a lot. I primarily use a Mac Studio at this time as my revision 5,1 Mac Pro's have pretty much been retired at this point. A Mac Studio is great but lacks the storage capacity to be able to house data. After trying a plethora of external devices I ordered this Flex 8 and have to say, this thing has some power. I installed four 10TB NAS hard drives I had as a backup in a Raid array in an existing Mercury Rack Pro (USB 3.1, so I wanted to replace that for performance purposes) and then I added three 18TB NAS drives in a RAID array. That gave me 30TB of usable space on the first array and 36TB on the 2nd. Then I added an OWC Shuttle with four 4TB memory modules and I combined those into a RAID array as well, giving me 16TB of usable space. This one tower now provides me with 82TB of space and gets rid of all of the external drives and devices I had connected to my MAC Studio. Regarding performance, it's flawless. I am editing off the 16TB array which is blazing fast. I couldn't be happier with a device as I am with this one. The best part is the PCIE slot which is available for use. I'm looking forward to experimenting with that in the near future. This has really completed my edit bay setup as well as offered me a solid solution for data management. I highly recommend this unit for localized data management. It is very powerful and very well thought out. I also do like the software version as it puts the control at your fingertips. I hops this review helps someone looking for data management solutions. 5 |

With proper data management (zeroing out the drive before using it) I have bee able to cut and color 2 feature documentaries on this machine. Great product. The interchangable drives make data management easy. 5 |

These NVME SSDs do get hot and since they're becoming pretty much the standard data storage medium now, they get heavy use in some computers. There are various janky heat sinks applied with motherboards, none of them inspire confidence much. This is a better solution, as long as you have dimensional room for the thickness of the heat sink. Check on that first. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm an IT guy and this SSD has no trouble keeping up with my needs. Reads speeds of 6,900 MB/s give it great performance. It comes with a suite of tools, so I can manage an type of data I am using with it. The bandwidth capabilities can handle multiple graphics and data analysis too. I worried about heat issues, but this SSD has nickel coating and a heat spreader label that manages heat of the NAND chip extremely well. Look forward to using this on a daily basis. 5 |

Type-C to Type-C and Type-A to Type-C data cables, heat sink pads, and a Handy strap with an R hook included. Good for clipping to your bag when on the go. Case is made of metal. RGB lighting is kinda cool too. 5 |

Got it for my home server that runs 24/7 under constant data transfer and heat stress. It's speed and power is amazing large files are no longer a bane to my existence. Time will tell if it's tough enough to survive under these extreme conditions. 5 |

The Flash Drive has worked well. Data transfer is relatively fast. The only concern is the excessive heat in the Flash Drive with long duration use. The heat is well beyond normal and is some source of concern. I disengage the Flash Drive from the computer when not is use. Impressive storage capacity for the price. 5 |

I've owned two of these thermostats for just under a month. Within the first 2 days I was able to identify an issue with my primary heat pump, based on the online data. I replaced a control board and will end up saving a lot of money, due to no longer running auxiliary heat. It's a great thermostat, it is highly configurable, it is easy to use and best of all, the availability of data makes it second to none. 5 |

I work at the data center and there is ALLOT of ambient noise.. I use apple headsets with noise cancelation to block out the server noises.. I have to use my apple headset with music on and volume set to 80% or more to block the noise.. but then with extended work hours inside the data center, i get tired from the music loudness.. Enter the Sony XM5s.. its a totally new experience as they separate me from the physical world no matter what the ambient noise is! They are brilliant! They also work on my LG C1 TV.. amazing stuff! Music sounds SO good and i can work at the data center with or without listening to music! Comfort wise they are amazing, very light! Whats not to like :D Get them and you will be super happy 5 |

With my own limited capability, this was the only lens that I have been able to get decent IT Data Center shots with in limited space and low light. 5 |
