I just added the WD 4TB Elements External Desktop Hard Disk Drive to my� back up solution (6 hard drives) and Windows 10.� I disconnected the power and USB cable from a full WD hard drive and replaced it with this new drive and fired it up. It works great, just like I would expect from Western Digital.

After having great luck over the years with WD Passport (spinning disk) drives and then trying a WD external SSD (which has had multiple issues), I returned to obtain another of the Passport (disk) drives with which I've had much success over the years.

I own 4 WD external disk drives of different capacities, and this one is my largest yet. It has performed flawlessly since I placed it in service. The older ones continue to give excellent service. Over the years WD has made great strides in improving the backup software, and utilities, and I believe the product is well worth the price.
