Databases With Built In Reverse Image Search

This is my second C920s webcam. It has great features and a beautiful image. It's basically plug & play right out of the box, with one major exception. I immediately realized that the image is reversed upon plugging the webcam in. Why the default image is reversed kind of blows my mind. There were no directions on how to reverse the image. I went on the Logitech website and searched for a solution. Nada. I searched Google, too. All the solutions were complicated and convoluted. I ended up downloading 2 or 3 programs that didn't solve my problem. Since this is my second C920s, I went back to my first installation of this webcam on my other PC. The image was right on. So, I checked and I have a program called Logitech Capture. I checked its settings, and sure enough, under the Source 1 settings there's an Advanced Settings slider. Sliding that to On opens up another set of settings. One of them is horizontally flip source. Checking that check box flips the image to the proper point of view. Why Logitech would reverse the default image is beyond me. And, why they don't provide instructions on how to flip the image is crazy. Anyway, just downloading this simple (free) program from the Logitech website solves the issue. All is well. I'm very happy with the webcam now.

This ballhead replaced the Markins Q2 that is also a solid built one. The Z1 sp allows me to reverse the legs of the tripod for compactness and ease to carry in a checked bag for airline travel. Also the double security flip-lock design offers additional assurance that it will not come open accidentally. Another advantage is that the width of the of the clamp can be easily adjusted by a cogged wheel by a finger tip; you need a screw driver to do the same adjustment for the Markins Q20.

Much sturdier and solidly built. Love the fact that you can reverse the camera simply by pressing a button and turning instead of removing the camera and turning it around. Great product.

As you know filters help with image quality during the day. I was in search of filters for my new GoPro Hero 9 and decided to go with the Freewell 4K series. I'm glad I did, they are well built, and do exactly what I bought them for. I would highly recommend. - JM

The Pelican 0915 is a great case for carrying or storing SD cards. I use mine for carrying SD cards that are used to update the databases in my airplane navigation equipment. They must be kept safe. Push the SD cards firmly into the cutouts and they stay in place very nicely. This is an exceptionally well built case. I am very pleased with it and can recommend it highly.

This device is fasts enough to handle heavy uses like databases etc. Chrome is an amazing operating system, much safer than any other out there. The vast majority of users, even in a business setting, will enjoy this much more than Windows. After all, most folks do everything online. Chrome OS is fast, secure, easy to use, less expensive AND no virus software/expense. Docs are saved automatically, searchable etc. Setting a new device literally takes a few minutes and everything is set up the same as it was on the old machine. Done.

I perform calculations on large databases and I need to perform them relatively quickly. My second objective is to display the results graphically with good clarity. Thirdly, I will be traveling internationally .for seven months and require a bigger screen since I won't be accessing my 34 inch home based monitor. My new 16 inch MBP M3 Max replaces my 14 inch MBP M1 MBP. It accomplishes all of the above and remains sufficiently portable and I am fully satisfied.  An astounding machine from Apple. The best computer I have used and I have used many. I bought my first Mac in the late eighties when I acquired an SE.

I’m currently using this particular model for backing up backups and for a couple of small databases. I plan to buy 923 and make it the main one for databases and backups, and I’ll make this one only for multimedia for the home. I really like the operating system, everything is simple, everything is clear, reliable, synology has never let me down.
