Dead Catch Record Studio Key

I have used the camera nearly everywhere I go. It is so light that I can hardly tell that I have it. It is simple to use and can be grabbed and record in a few short seconds to catch those don't want to miss moments. Excellent resolution and zoom capabilities.

Very Clear and detailed Sound. I tried to record in a dinner party. It can catch the voice of the people very clearly even in a noisy condition.

This unit has just the right amount of features at a great price. Love having both HDMI (2) and SDI (4) inputs. Love having the built in screen plus outputs for multi, pgrm, and aux! Having one down and one up stream key plus the extra logo/bug key creates flexibility. Two audio inputs plus the one main output make it easy to integrate equipment or with other audio systems; would have preferred XLR connections, but good 1/8 TRS adapters work just fine. Unit can stream by USB-C tethering or RJ45 direct to host. The unit easily mixed inputs of differing resolutions, and broadcasting or recording at 1080p60 is more than adequate. If you don't need 4K, this is a great piece of gear to have. The only con I found was when streaming by USB-C tethering, you cannot record to the CF on the unit. You have to record on the device you are tethered to. Very happy with this purchase.

I was left for dead in Jacksonville Florida by an evil ex who had me falsely arrested and then sold everything (including my all stuff) and fled out of state by the time the bureaucracy realized she was lying and released me without picking up the charges ... I was standing outside the jail in December with less than what a newborn baby goes home from the hospital with. Within 2 months I had stabilized my living arrangements, bought new clothes and reacquired some photography gear thanks to a few local pawn shops so I could get back to work. HOWEVER I still needed a great tripod that can handle studio work BUT also be portable and lightweight to take out in public in order to rebuild my portfolio. Lucky me this Oben Skysill was on sale at B&H and as much as it pained me to spend over $100 on a tripod at that stage in my life, I bought it. Oben has ALWAYS been a brand I've preferred and this tripod has been EXCELLENT for my use and the money - I have no complaints so far. Granted I'm not using a super heavy telephoto lens on some mountain in 25knot winds but for the studio work I'm doing and the occasional outside setup, it's like a magic. It SHOULD be called the Oben ANGEL - haha The only complaint some of the more pickier of us may have is it doesn't have twist lock legs but I've never disliked latch locks - if anything they last longer than the twist locks in general which satisfies my frugal sensibilities. If you need one buy one, you won't be disappointed.

As producers for Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World, the outdoors is our studio. By using laviliere mics we get an audio quality expected from a studio, while remaining in the outdoors. We do this with these. We call the big ones dead cats these are the dead kittens. They will hush a 35 knot wind. They really work well and we use nothing else, but perhaps a 80Hz roll off highpass in post. You can listen to the camera mic and hear what sounds like a hurricane in the camera, but you don't even know the wind is blowing with these on. We buy black, white and grey depending on clothing colors. Recommend three for each mic unit you have in service.

Nice Microphone for studio Talk Back. Only problem was a dead 9 volt battery (included), which was easily replaced. I would recommend this product, well constructed and easy to use.
