This mic has a great sound. It really seems to deaden the room noise and creates more of a NPR Sound with the proper bottom settings on the mixer. It is also very versatile and while I have not used the USB option yet, it is great to know if is there in case I need to record on the road. Very well built unit, as you would expect from Shure. 5 |

I have only had this for a few days but it is working wonderfully. I have a Sony 52 HDTV and live in an apartment. We can not have the sound too loud so when watching movies or sporting events we use my receives headphone output and plug our headsets into the Headphone Amp and we can each adjust the sound level to our personal preference.
